As far back as I can remember, I've always loved animals. I was raised with cats, starting at the age of 5. I rescued my first fur babies, Buffy and Angel, 8 years ago and recently adopted another family member – a kitten named Sweet Dee. I have experience working in an animal shelter, as well as pet sitting and dog walking. Whatever your pet needs, that's what I'm here for! Rest assured I’ll follow your pet care instructions, be respectful of your home, and communicate with you as often as you feel comfortable while you’re away. Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions and schedule a meet & greet so we can learn more about each other and your pet before we take the next step. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby and give you the peace of mind knowing that your loved one is in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment
As a pet parent myself, I understand that your pet's wellbeing is what's most important. I'm a reliable caregiver and I'll always look after them as if they are my own. Besides providing fresh food and water, and cleaning litter boxes and other pet messes, they'll also get plenty of play time and exercise, good walks, back scratches and belly rubs. In the summer, if temperatures exceed 90 degrees (and in the winter if temps drop below freezing or if there's ice on the ground), dog walks will be shortened for their safety; I will provide your pup with a quick potty break and then have indoor play time and/or supervised backyard time for the duration of the booking. I'm here to become a friend for your fur baby and provide them with a relaxing, safe and fun time whenever you're away from home!

I had yet another flight failure and didn't make it home. The airlines string us along until last minute, so when I reached out to Lori at almost 9 pm, I was so grateful she was willing to as another visit to my cats. And as I was languishing in rebooting purgatory with everything's else at La Guardia, I was cheered up with the pictures of my cats which were sent within the hour. (She takes great pictures). I highly recommend Lori--its just great peace of mind when she is watching my cats.
Lori was great at finding my newly acquired shy cat. I was very happy to receive pictures reassuring me that she was ok. Great service all around.

Schedule
I'm a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, with the most availability between 9:30am and 3:30pm each weekday. I'm home the majority of the day, so I'm readily available to care for your pets!
