Aliyah did a nice job with walking my dog! I liked that she took and sent pictures of my dog while they went along their walk. She treated my dog nicely, followed my instructions, and returned him the same way that she received him. I’m appreciative!

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was about 10, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. Growing up, I helped walk, feed, and bathe the family and friends dogs, and over the years I’ve watched pets for relatives while they were on vacation, making sure they felt loved while their owners were away. Now I have two dogs of my own, Chloe and Remi, who I care for every single day. From feeding and playtime to just keeping them happy and comfortable, I truly enjoy making pets feel safe and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I work part-time about three days a week and I’m a college student, but I come home on weekends and during holidays, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pets. Even on the days I work, my shifts are usually early mornings for 4–5 hours, so I’m free for afternoon, evening, and nighttime care. My schedule can be flexible and I’m able to adjust as needed, so I’m happy to work around what your pet needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I always follow their normal routine—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I treat every pet with patience, affection, and respect, just like I want my own pets to be treated. My motto is “treat others how you want to be treated,” and I bring that same care and kindness to every animal I look after.

About: As a lifelong animal lover with a degree in biology and a focus on environmental science, I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of pets. From turtles and snakes, to fish, dogs, and cats - I've researched and worked with all types of animals throughout my career. Our family home has always been the go-to place for friends and family to bring their beloved pets when they need care. I absolutely adore getting to know each animal's unique personality and caring for them as if they were my own. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of pet sitting for all kinds of breeds, from Cane Corsos and Labradors to Labradoodles, Shih Tzu, and our own 10-year-old Morkie, October. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and the meticulous, personalized attention I provide to every pet in my care. I understand that each furry (or scaly!) friend has their own needs, quirks, and preferred routine. I'm committed to maintaining that consistency, whether it's sticking to a feeding schedule, taking frequent walks, or providing plenty of playtime and cuddles. While I don't have specialized training in puppy care or senior pet support, I have ample experience caring for pets at all stages of life. Puppies and aging companions require extra patience and attention, and I'm adept at meeting their evolving needs with care and empathy. You can trust that your pet will receive the personalized attention they deserve, regardless of their age or stage of life. Whether you need a sitter for a quick errand or an extended vacation, I'll treat your pet like family. I'd be honored to provide the personalized, attentive care that will give you peace of mind, knowing your furry friend is in the best of hands. Please don't hesitate to book me for your next pet sitting needs! As a college-level tutor who primarily works from home, I have the time and flexibility to provide exceptional care for your pets. My work-from-home setup allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine, and with complete availability on weekends and during the summer, I'm well-equipped to accommodate your vacation schedules with overnight pet sitting. You can trust that your furry friends will receive the utmost care in my hands. The safety and wellbeing of your pets is my top priority when they are in my care. Whether I'm watching over them in my own home or tending to them at your residence, you can rest assured they will be in a secure, comfortable environment with constant supervision. At my home, I have a decent-sized backyard with a small fenced in area shaded by trees - the perfect outdoor oasis for your furry friends to play and explore safely. And with just one small, elderly dog of my own who likes to keep to herself, your pets will have ample individual attention and a calm, quiet space to relax. My ability to work remotely means I'm able to maintain a watchful eye on your animals at all times, providing them with the care and companionship they need throughout the day. For pets staying at your home, I'll work closely with you to understand their precise routines, preferences, and any special needs. I'll arrive prepared and adhere strictly to your pet care instructions, ensuring a seamless transition and a stress-free experience for your beloved companions. You can trust that I'll treat your home with the utmost care and respect, keeping it clean and tidy just as I would my own. About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
