About: I've been around animals in general my entire life! I've had many pets and taken care of others pets in the past. I have a lot of experience in dealing with animals, as well as a high success rate when getting new animals to warm up to me. I'm a part time student although most of my classes are around 9 to 12 A.M. Past these times I am free to look after animals. For Cats: I have an entire basement for them to roam around in! I also have a spacious room with beds and food/treats. I have the most experience with cats as my first pet was a cat. For Dogs: I have a fenced yard in the back for dogs to play. This also allows them to use the bathroom as need be. I also have plenty of dog toys to play and keep your pet active. I also have had a dog of my own and can set playdates if that is a request!

“Lee was absolutely amazing with our dogs while we were away! I have a lot of anxiety leaving them because of past bad experiences with other sitters, but Lee completely changed that. He treated them with so much love and care, and I could tell they felt safe and happy with him. We came home to relaxed, happy pups—which says everything. We love Lee and wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. There’s a reason he has 5 stars!”

“Iveth has been a god-send these past few days. Her experience with the breed was what drew me to her and she has shown me she does truly love dogs. I look forward to having her in my circle.”

“Grace was amazing! She was everything our 2 furballs could’ve asked for. Normally when we leave and they can’t come with, they don’t get to stay in comfort at home. Not only did Grace make that a possibility, but ensured they were well taken care of and happy. Highly recommend. Grace will be our go to in the future!”

“Amanda has been a great addition to Ducky’s daily routine since I’ve had to start going back to the office. She now looks forward to every walk! Amanda is also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated which I appreciate while being newly away from my dog!”
“Autumn is great and my dog loves her! So grateful that I was able to find someone that I can trust with my fur baby. Autumn always provides great communication and is always willing to listen to my concerns/requests. My dog unexpectedly got ill and Autumn went above and beyond to ensure he was okay until I reached him.”

About: Hi! I’m a college student home for the summer with 4–5 years of experience caring for pets. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, bathe, walk, and love their animals like my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of pets. Thank you for considering me to care for your amazing companion! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially while I’m home for the summer and have a more open schedule. I plan my days around my availability (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays) and make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention, care, and playtime they need. Whether it's feeding, grooming, or just keeping a cat company, I treat it like a priority not a side task. I also stay flexible so I can adjust to each pet’s unique routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a calm and familiar environment by following the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to body language and other cues to understand how the pet is feeling, and I give them the space or affection they need based on their comfort level. I know that trust takes time, especially with animals, and I’m always patient, gentle, and respectful of their boundaries. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, seen, and cared for while their family is away.

About: I've owned cats, dogs, and even guinei pigs the majority of my life. I've had a total of 4 dogs and 12 cats during my life. I'm patient, caring, fun, and an outstanding friend! I've cared for dogs with special grooming needs, exercise needs, and varying quirks. I'm available most what's, except for Tuesday and Thursday, but can make time on those days if needed. I'm always available on those days after 8 though :-). By nature, I'm very organized and timely. I pride myself on it, and always will. No matter the size of the dog, or cat, I can work with your pet. I know that I vibrate an excellent aura, as I've yet to run into a dog or cat that does not like me. Most importantly, I know that pets are family, and should be cared for as such. I look forward to meeting you, and of course your pet!
About: As a pet owner myself, of an energetic poodle, I understand the importance of maintaining open communication while your pet is in the care of another person. I work 100% remotely, which allows me the flexibility to cuddle, play, and care for your pet. I have a set schedule for walks but can also accommodate as needed. Pets are not allowed in my bedroom or bathroom in my home but are welcome to the rest of the home. They’ll also have their own room to safely sleep, play or relax.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in the house. I have experience caring for both from birth to end of life. I can give medications, hand feed, clean incontinence/accidents, scoop and clean litter boxes, administer subcutaneous IV fluids, walk, play, and anything your baby may need. I will care for them as if they are my own and would love to spoil them. My schedule is semi-flexible as I work from home. I’m available afternoons and evenings. Feel free to reach out if a different time is needed and I will see what I can do. I am offering drop in visits and walking for right now. I will be respectful of your property and sensitive and patient with your baby.
“Hilary was great with our pug! She was reliable and provided updates and was even able to get our girl back in her crate after her walk, when she can be a bit stubborn. She was communicative and made booking and everything easy! Will definitely book Hilary again!”

“Emma was super sweet! She agreed to walk our dog on a very short notice (1 day), arrived on time and even spent extra 5 minutes walking him. Additionally, she kindly offered to wipe the paws since it was wet outside. Outstanding service! I’m happy to have found an excellent walker on our first try. We will order more services moving forward!”

About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.
About: I’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals. From a young age, I’ve felt a special connection with all creatures, big and small. This passion has driven me to not only understand their needs but to also dedicate myself to ensuring they receive the best possible care. Whether it’s through daily walks, providing enrichment activities, or simply offering a safe and loving environment, I’m committed to giving animals the attention and compassion they deserve. I believe that every animal, just like every person, has unique needs and a personality that should be nurtured. I’m here to make sure your furry, scaly, or feathered friends are in the best hands possible. I work from home and can provide services on a flexible schedule from day and/or night daycare, walks, potty breaks and training. I also have reliable transportation for pets. I have a fenced yard, large inside area and designed space for animal care. All animals have space to enjoy and feel safe and loved.
Oxon Hill-Glassmanor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Just finished our first week of dog walking with Kristal and she’s been terrific. I was nervous because it took some time for my dog to get acclimated with my previous walker so I thought it would take some time with Kristal as well but we hit it off from the bat. We did a meet and greet beforehand with my Coco being apprehensive but when walk day came there were no issues. I’ve already booked Kristal for the next 3 weeks for dog walking. Thankful to have found a replacement that my dog was comfortable with.

Nisha was awesome. Not only did she accept our last-minute dog walking request, but she also was able to walk our dog for an extra day due to our returning flight complications. She gave regular updates and lots of photos too. Will definitely be booking Nisha again!
