My dog Sky isn't very socialized and tends to be anxious around new people and places, so how quickly she took to Melonie was a great sign. This was also the first time we'd left Sky with anyone outside of family, so that mattered a lot to us. Since some time had passed, Melonie graciously offered to do another meet and greet before this booking. Sky warmed up to her right away again. I currently train my dog in emotional and psychiatric care as she is training to be a service animal. I can give medications, hand feed, clean incontinence/accidents, scoop and clean litter boxes, administer subcutaneous IV fluids, walk, play, and anything your baby may need. About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.

This time I brought my daughter along, and she felt just as confident in Melonie as I did. We both knew Sky was in good hands. Melonie has such a calm, pleasant presence, and it clearly puts Sky at ease. She sent us daily updates with pictures throughout the stay, and Sky looked happy and relaxed in every one. We'll absolutely be booking with Melonie again in the future!”
