About: I’ve taken care of pets owned by family and friends for over 10years. Specially experienced taking care of senior dogs and cats (meds, special diet) I’m the person who says hi to any dog walking on the street. I took a training course to help anxious dogs. Be sure I’ll take care of your pet as of my own and will send you many pics. Fresh water bowls, refresh litter boxes, food, plays, treats, you name it. I’m near old town Alexandria and while I navigate a career transition (ex federal contractor), I’ll be very happy to take care of your furry babies. I can do overnight stays, or walk them through the day. I love walking and I’ll be happy to take your pup for a walk, play with them, treats, and praise them. I don’t sit on my place as I have a beautiful 13yo cocker spaniel. If you could see my dog, you would know that I’m an animal lover. I have a 13yo cocker spaniel and I know how important is to have someone that takes good care of our pets. I don’t do overnight on my place or bring my dog with me when taking care of another pet. I’ll always walk your dog with a leash, pay attention they don’t eat something they shouldn’t eat on the street, give them their meds, fresh bowl of water, play, praise them for being good pets. I’ll send you photos of your pet to keep you updated.
“Lindsey was a wonderful companion for our very particular dog Kona. Her calm demeanor is fantastic! Lindsey took great care of both Kona and our house. I highly recommend her services.”

“Brianna treated my dogs like they were her own. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation with no worries. In fact, I think the dogs were a little disappointed when she left and I came home.”

“Quiana is wonderful! It’s no wonder she has the Rover stats she does. She is truly a dog person and was able to connect with our dogs, even our one “problem child” within minutes. Quiana stayed at our home for 8 days while we were out of state. She checked in daily and sent funny updates. Our home was exactly as we left it. Hiring Quiana is like hiring your most responsible friend to sit! We were 1000% at ease the whole way through. We wouldn’t use anyone else!”

“Holly is a brilliant sitter! Looked after my dog like she was her own, plenty of updates throughout my time away, and left the house neat and tidy. Thanks Holly!”

“Michaela really helped out and was able to come dog sit for an entire afternoon on very short notice. She went above and beyond on communication and was easy and pleasant to deal with. She made sure Edgar was comfortable and had bathroom breaks, food, and water as needed. Definitely will rebook.”

I am fully comfortable caring for animals in your home. I am familiar with typical behaviors such as crating and feeding, and if your pet has other needs please just let me know and I will accommodate!
“Niani kept me posted throughout the house sitting and sent lots of pictures and videos which was really helpful! My cat took some time but eventually got very comfortable and talkative. Thanks Niani for taking great care of Jamun!”

“Dahlya did an amazing job watching my kitty and my house! She sent pictures throughout my trip and was just amazing. I’m so grateful I found her and will absolutely be using her again! 10/10!!”

“Bria was an exceptional dog walker / house sitter for Loo, my dog and Meredith, my cat. Initially Bria and I met for a meet and great and I instantly felt comfortable with her. You can tell she is very comfortable around animals and has a way with them. While I was out of town, Bria went to the store and bought Loo toys. I was SO pleased to see she went out of her way to make my dog happy. Bria is extremely thoughtful and great with communicatiion while you are out of town. I will for sure reach out to Bria again when I need a dog sitter / walker. She's the best! :)”
“John is by far the best dog sitter I’ve found for my two girls. My husband and I were able to travel in peace knowing they were in good hands. John kept constant communication with us and even informed us when packages were received while we were away. He is reliable and a consummate professional. I have absolutely no reservations on referring John to friends and family who need a dog sitter!”

“Aliyah was absolutely amazing with our two dogs! One of our dogs still has ‘puppy energy’ but she was calm and firm with her. And I swear my house was cleaner than when I left. We absolutely will be booking with her again!”

About: Let us know your pet’s eating habits/preferences and if your dog has any special needs or behaviors we should account for. We also love to know what commands your dog knows so we can speak their language and help enforce whatever training you are working/have worked on. I'm currently working from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! For boarding, I am available during the week and weekends. During a typical day, I love taking the dogs around the neighborhood to let them explore new smells and get their exercise. I'll also let them play in the fenced backyard. If you're comfortable with it, I'm more than happy to make visits to the dog park too, where they can have a blast. For more relaxed dogs or on days with bad weather, we can enjoy indoor activities like playing fetch, engaging in tug-of-war, and having cozy cuddle sessions with the pets.
“This was our first outing with Alayza, and she is now on our go-to list! She got to know 2 older dogs that aren't always simple - and both gave her high marks! They quickly wanted to hang close to her!”

About: I learn quick and fast. I’ve had dogs my whole life and couldn’t live without them. I make sure they have what they need and will go out of my way to make sure they’re safe and happy! I go to Penn State for school. I’m home for summer and I’m free throughout my break. I love pet sitting and meeting all animals! I’m good at cleaning and making sure your home is tidy. If there any damages, I’ll do whatever I can do to fix them. My priority is to make sure your pet is happy and safe.
“Sara continues to be a fantastic sitter! She’s super communicative, sends cute pictures, and takes such great care of our corgi, Teddy. I’m always so relaxed going away because I know he’s in great hands!”

Oxon Hill-Glassmanor pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kayla obviously cares deeply about pets. She checks in with me between bookings about Farah's welfare. Farah was sick this time, and Kayla kept in close touch about her symptoms. She also helped us out with running a sample to the vet and taking care of an issue for a guest in our Airbnb. She also soothed Farah when Farah was missing us. Our nervous Farah really likes Kayla's calm, loving presence.

Paige was amazing with our dogs! She sent us tons of pictures and was in communication with us the entire time she was with our pups. Paige could definitely tell how nervous I was to leave my pups with someone new and she helped ease my fears through this whole process. She was a respectful house guest and left our home neat and tidy. My pups love her and so do we. Will be booking all my future Rovers with her!!

Cannot say enough good things! We have three dogs, one of which is pretty reactive. Suany was so great with her and our other two. She played with our pups consistently and followed all of our directions and asked questions when she was unsure about something. She left our home spotless and sent lots of update pictures and videos. She also gave great nightly recaps. We are very picky about our sitters and cannot say enough good things about Suany! Book her! I’m
Overall my experience with Justina was okay. There were communication issues on arrival. I set the arrival time for the booking to 6-10pm. By 10pm I had not heard any arrival update. It took over 30 minutes to get ahold of Justina, including calling the emergency support line and prepping to leave my event to go back home. The ultimate arrival was nearly 2 hours past the set arrival time and my dog’s walk window. I do understand there was a vehicle issue and that unexpected things happen but communication is key. I would have made this a 5-star review if I had just been kept informed prior to the late arrival. Aside from the arrival issue the rest of the weekend went smoothly. Justina completed all requested walks and feeds in addition to sending pictures during the day. She also left my home spotless and well cared for.
