Lindsey was a great communicator, respectful of our home, and handled our fur babies well. She kept us informed of issues while we were away and was also responsive with any questions or concerns we had. We'd hire her again and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter. Thank you Lindsey!

About: I’ve taken care of pets owned by family and friends for over 10years. Specially experienced taking care of senior dogs and cats (meds, special diet) I’m the person who says hi to any dog walking on the street. I took a training course to help anxious dogs. Be sure I’ll take care of your pet as of my own and will send you many pics. Fresh water bowls, refresh litter boxes, food, plays, treats, you name it. I’m near old town Alexandria and while I navigate a career transition (ex federal contractor), I’ll be very happy to take care of your furry babies. I can do overnight stays, or walk them through the day. I love walking and I’ll be happy to take your pup for a walk, play with them, treats, and praise them. I don’t sit on my place as I have a beautiful 13yo cocker spaniel. If you could see my dog, you would know that I’m an animal lover. I have a 13yo cocker spaniel and I know how important is to have someone that takes good care of our pets. I don’t do overnight on my place or bring my dog with me when taking care of another pet. I’ll always walk your dog with a leash, pay attention they don’t eat something they shouldn’t eat on the street, give them their meds, fresh bowl of water, play, praise them for being good pets. I’ll send you photos of your pet to keep you updated.

About: Growing up I always loved caring for and spending time with many cats and dogs my family had. Today I live with my cat and my golden retriever. I work full-time from 7am-3pm Monday through Friday. Fridays are typically shorter days for me so I can give your pet extra care and attention through the weekend! I am fully comfortable caring for animals in your home. I am familiar with typical behaviors such as crating and feeding, and if your pet has other needs please just let me know and I will accommodate!

About: My partner and I work together to provide reliable and attentive house sitting and pet care throughout the DMV area. I currently work part-time as a concierge, which has strengthened my professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for building security and residents’ privacy. My partner is studying online to become an electrician, which gives him a flexible schedule and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving. We also have a cat of our own, so we understand the importance of routine, litter care, enrichment, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior. Caring for animals in their home requires patience and attentiveness, and we take that seriously. Together, we have experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, and temperaments. Working as a team allows us to provide consistent supervision, maintain routines, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. We are comfortable with: • Small to large dogs • Senior pets • Multiple-pet households • Following detailed feeding and care schedules We prioritize clear communication, cleanliness, and maintaining a calm, secure environment at all times. Our goal is to provide dependable care so you can travel with peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. I work some night concierge shifts, which gives me flexibility during the day to maintain feeding schedules, walks, and check-ins. Spending time outdoors with pets is a great balance after overnight work, and I enjoy being active with them. My partner studies in the evenings, so we are both structured and routine-oriented. Having pets in our care fits well with our schedule, as we prioritize consistency, fresh air, and daily activity. Because of our schedule flexibility, we are able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care while ensuring pets receive attentive and reliable supervision. My senior dog has a lot of medical and behavioral needs, and it’s hard for me to feel comfortable leaving him with a sitter. With Bria, not only did she seem to understand and love my old man, but she used her vet tech skills to administer all of his meds and closely monitor his respiratory rate. She flagged a heart failure episode early and worked with my dog’s cardiologist over the phone to adjust his mediation dosage to ensure he was stable while I was in flight. Bria’s expertise, reliable communication and nurturing personality were a godsend for my dog and me. I would definitely rebook and trust her implicitly. Would highly recommend, especially to go above and beyond for dogs with special needs.

Shakeia is wonderful! My dog always has a great time with her while I’m gone for a week at a time. She doesn’t get stressed, anxious or destructive despite me being gone for a decent chunk of time. Shakeia and my pup have a ton of fun together, and it’s nice to know my dog is being taken care of and loved while I’m not there. Highly recommend Shakeia!

Kayla obviously cares deeply about pets. She checks in with me between bookings about Farah's welfare. Farah was sick this time, and Kayla kept in close touch about her symptoms. She also helped us out with running a sample to the vet and taking care of an issue for a guest in our Airbnb. She also soothed Farah when Farah was missing us. Our nervous Farah really likes Kayla's calm, loving presence.

Overall my experience with Justina was okay. There were communication issues on arrival. I set the arrival time for the booking to 6-10pm. By 10pm I had not heard any arrival update. It took over 30 minutes to get ahold of Justina, including calling the emergency support line and prepping to leave my event to go back home. The ultimate arrival was nearly 2 hours past the set arrival time and my dog’s walk window. I do understand there was a vehicle issue and that unexpected things happen but communication is key. I would have made this a 5-star review if I had just been kept informed prior to the late arrival. Aside from the arrival issue the rest of the weekend went smoothly. Justina completed all requested walks and feeds in addition to sending pictures during the day. She also left my home spotless and well cared for.
