The dogs are generally very cautious of strangers, and they were going through some sibling rivalry and needed to be kept apart - on separate floors of the house. Be sure I’ll take care of your pet as of my own and will send you many pics. Fresh water bowls, refresh litter boxes, food, plays, treats, you name it. I’m near old town Alexandria and while I navigate a career transition (ex federal contractor), I’ll be very happy to take care of your furry babies. I can do overnight stays, or walk them through the day. I love walking and I’ll be happy to take your pup for a walk, play with them, treats, and praise them. I don’t sit on my place as I have a beautiful 13yo cocker spaniel. If you could see my dog, you would know that I’m an animal lover. I have a 13yo cocker spaniel and I know how important is to have someone that takes good care of our pets. I don’t do overnight on my place or bring my dog with me when taking care of another pet. I’ll always walk your dog with a leash, pay attention they don’t eat something they shouldn’t eat on the street, give them their meds, fresh bowl of water, play, praise them for being good pets. “I booked Michaela for the weekend to housesit and stay with my dog. My dog can be reactive with other dogs, so I’m always nervous to leave her with new people. She did great with Michaela! Additionally, my flight back got canceled, and Michaela stayed overnight again and then my second flight got very delayed and Michaela was very nice to extend her stay and stay with my dog a little longer. Ensure she had gone potty and been fed before I got home since I was getting home very late. Additionally, the house was very organized and clean. I will definitely be booking Michaela again!!”

And 8am-1pm on saturdays. I do not work on Wednesdays and Sundays. I work in Alexandria and live near National Harbor. It is important to start communication with me early to make sure your fur babies are set up for success For my animals and yours, I want to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I try to play and engage with animals I care for as much as possible. I use positive reinforcement for good behavior, and all I want for your pet is to make sure they are comfortable with me taking care of them while your away!

“Alayza was great! My husband and I had to leave town quickly for a funeral and Alayza came over the same day I put in my request to Rover so we could meet each other. I have a 16 yr. old Border Collie with kidney disease and a complicated diet and a need for two good walks a day. Alayza was willing to take our request and stayed at our house for some nights. When we returned after 5 days, the house was spick and span but more importantly, we have never seen our dog in such good spirits on a return from a trip!! We are so grateful for Alayza and plan to use her again in the future.”
