About: Growing up I always loved caring for and spending time with many cats and dogs my family had. Today I live with my cat and my golden retriever. I work full-time from 7am-3pm Monday through Friday. Fridays are typically shorter days for me so I can give your pet extra care and attention through the weekend! I am fully comfortable caring for animals in your home. I am familiar with typical behaviors such as crating and feeding, and if your pet has other needs please just let me know and I will accommodate!
About: I have been blessed to have great pet's for almost the entirety of my life. I consider them some of the best friends I've ever had and shared strong bonds with them all. I have plenty of experience sitting for both dogs and cats for friends, family, and strangers alike. I was also a frequent participant in Humane Animal Partner's "Doggy Day Out" program. Through this program I was able to grasp the nuances of caring for dogs I was not familiar with and understanding how they all can have differing needs. I'll be sure to provide the love and care your pet deserves. I am currently working part-time while exploring more stable career options. This leaves me with plenty of time to be there for your pet throughout most parts of the day. Through clear communication from my client's, I can responsibly meet whatever needs your pet may need. I understand that your pets are members of your family and I will treat them with the respect you would expect from someone looking after a loved one.
“Mark was absolutely great with Archie and Mumford. He knew exactly how to work with our dogs and was incredibly responsive and provided great pictures and videos. The dogs clearly enjoyed their time with him!”

“Ada was amazing!! This was my first time using the App and she made me feel so comfortable. She agreed to a meet and greet prior to my house sitting dates and my dogs loved her instantly. She was very communicative and kept me informed on everything. As this was my first time leaving my babies with anyone outside of family, we were all a bit nervous and hoping this was a good match. My mom even checked in with Ada and she was totally cool with. My mom and dog both have dogs and we are pretty certain Ada has 3 new clients. Ada maintained my home wonderfully. She really was patient with and understanding and I would recommend her 10/10, especially for new clients.”

“Shannon was amazing with my dog Cash while I was away for a few days! Shannon provided daily pictures and videos, as well as updates as to how he was doing. I was very impressed with how detailed she was in her updates, and I didn’t worry at all about him while I was away! I highly recommend Shannon!”

“Mark was amazing with our dog, going above and beyond with him when we were out of town. We have a high energy dog and mark took him on several long walks. He was really great about sending photos too! And he took great care of our cat , checking on her multiple times . We look forward to working with him again soon!”

“Kymberlee was an amazing dog sitter! She sent me updates via the app. Always on time with the potty training. Very kind and thoughtful. Luna loved her. Definitely will book again!”
“Really great. Lots of pictures. Extremely responsive and good with the pets. House was immaculate (cleaner than I left it, which was unnecessary but very kind). Would definitely book again.”

“Brian was amazing. We had a last-minute request over the holidays, and he truly saved us. He stayed at our home and took excellent care of our dog, King, who isn’t always the easiest, but Brian stepped in confidently and made it work without issue. Communication was great; he was always responsive and kept us at ease while we were away. We came home to a happy dog and a house left in great condition. We would absolutely book Brian again and highly recommend him to anyone on Rover.”

“John was fantastic! He was very attentive to the directions we gave him and made sure their routines were not disrupted. He also gave timely updates and has a knack for animal photography. John was also very responsive via text. Our dog and cat look forward to the next time my wife and I are out of town!”

“Alayza was great! My husband and I had to leave town quickly for a funeral and Alayza came over the same day I put in my request to Rover so we could meet each other. I have a 16 yr. old Border Collie with kidney disease and a complicated diet and a need for two good walks a day. Alayza was willing to take our request and stayed at our house for some nights. When we returned after 5 days, the house was spick and span but more importantly, we have never seen our dog in such good spirits on a return from a trip!! We are so grateful for Alayza and plan to use her again in the future.”

“Michaela was great! The dogs were well cared for and the house was in great condition! One of our dogs is very high energy and strong, and we trusted Michaela to handle her. We will happily ask her to care for our pups again!”
“Nikole is absolutely amazing! My dogs adore her and I think it’s safe to say she loves my dogs. She was dog sitting for us for 12 days while we were out of town and she always kept us updated and sent us photos of our boys! I would definitely recommend Nikole and will be using her again in the future!”

“Stephanie is really fantastic. We know our dog - and house - is instead hands when we’re away. Which means that we can actually relax and enjoy our vacations. We are repeat customers and will be sure to use Stephanie again.”

Silver Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
Issi did an excellent job taking care of Murphy. She’s a great communicator and was proactive in providing thoughtful updates throughout. It was our first time leaving our 8-month-old kitten, and she was incredibly understanding of my nervousness. Seeing how quickly Murphy warmed up to her was such a relief. We came home to a calm, happy kitten and a tidy home, which meant a lot. We’ve already booked Issi again for a longer trip in May and feel completely confident Murphy will be in caring, capable hands.

Ada was amazing!! She really was patient with and understanding and I would recommend her 10/10, especially for new clients.

Mickela was a fantastic sitter! She sent regular updates with lots of photos, she was super attentive to Rowdy’s needs, and was great about communication. Rowdy absolutely adored her and I would definitely book with her again. As a bonus, I came home to a house cleaner than I left it. I would absolutely recommend Mickela to any of my friends.

Taylor was absolutely amazing housesitting my large, elderly dog. My Great Pyrenees is shy and kinda high maintenance and she has never had such a positive sitting experience. From the first meeting Taylor came with excellent questions that showed he is a pro. He was willing to do a trial walk to help my dog get comfortable with him. He accommodated her quirks such as getting her her favorite snacks and learning to play with her favorite toys. Taylor also put my own anxiety at ease with lots of photo/video updates complete with cute, funny narration. And he left my house super clean, which if you have a Pyr you know takes effort! I would book Taylor again in a heartbeat. He is truly special.

Keisha saved our Christmas plans! When our sitter canceled last minute, it was such a relief when Keisha was so willing to do a same-day meet and greet, and stay with my elderly dog for the week of Christmas. She was responsive the whole time, and we returned to a happy dog and clean house. She even treated Marley to a Christmas present, which was so sweet!

I am a first time Rover user, and was for a long time very wary of allowing strangers to take care of my fur babies. Roy, unequivocally, is the reason this site works. Roy communicated often, thoroughly, and was even patient when we had app difficulties and my communication lapsed. Roy took care of my two dogs and one cat and provided stimulation and lots of cuddles. We came home to a house that was pristine and three happy and healthy pets. As I told Roy personally, having the peace of mind to actually enjoy the vacation is nearly invaluable. We are very thankful to Roy and will definitely be booking again should the time come!

Absolutely incredible sitter!** I booked Trina F. over the Thanksgiving break (Nov 26–Dec 1), and her service was truly amazing from start to finish. She checked in constantly, sent regular photo and video updates, and always made sure I knew my fur baby was happy, safe, and well cared for. Her communication was fast, friendly, and reassuring — exactly what you hope for when leaving your pet with someone. I could tell she genuinely cared and treated my pup like her own. I came home to a relaxed, happy dog and a spotless space. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Trina went above and beyond, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!

We rebooked Heather to dog sit our 7 month old golden, Franklin at our home. Heather is so communicative and spends so much time with our Franklin! She goes above and beyond to take him on fun walks/outings around DC. She loves Franklin and Franklin loves her!
