About: Being with the NFB {National Federation of The Blind}, I've been around dogs for a very long time. When their owners need a break, I allow them to have time for themselves, and be able to be a regular dog for a bit. I love helping them get groomed, make sure that they're well fed, enjoying walks with them, a whole bunch of other things, including playing with them. This helps the inner child within me, because I'm able to finally reconnect with dogs in a way that I've been reconnecting for the longest amount of time. Thank you for trusting me with them, and have a safe day. Currently, I am working part-time at another job, but hopefully this will be my point of income for a while. I absolutely love the concept of just being paid to play with animals that I have always loved. I can do that any given time frame, any given day, just as long as you are public transportation accessible, I am on my way. I can absolutely assure safety, because I'm a little paranoid about my own. I will make sure that if there's anything I need to know, I will scare me areas around me, know what potential risks there are, potential accidents that could happen, and anything else that needs to be paid attention to. About: Growing up, we had almost as many dogs as we did kids in the house. My parents were huge pet people, so I guess they just passed it down to me as well however, even as a child, I always had a love of animals. There were many times that I brought home birdies with broken wings, or tried to sneak frog in the house without my mom noticing. My love for animals only grew the older I got but also my education. Being able to work directly under licensed veterinarians, gave me the opportunity to understand treatment plans for minor and major issues that animals can face. I was given the opportunity to work with newborn animals along with those that require senior care. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of animals that are expecting and helping to bring new life into the world. It was during this time, but many friends and neighbors took the opportunity to ask me to watch their animals. Anytime they went on vacation or maybe just had to take a long business trip. Even when an animal is in their home, having a new person around can still sometimes be nerve-racking. But I take pride in knowing that I’m able to make sure they feel comfortable and loved even when their parents are away. I work from home teaching English as a second language. This allows me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I have open availability Monday through Friday. I’m also able to help out on the weekends depending on the timing. However, I’m willing to be flexible. Traveling as an adult with pets can sometimes be difficult. This was the first time that I worked with Bradley and had him both house sit and most importantly dog sit for my 135 lb. mastiff mix dog. He did a great job caring for Bosco; Bosco was in great shape when I returned from my trip. Bradley also cared for the house, getting the mail, checking for damage after a major thunderstorm and then letting me know that everything was ok. When I returned everything was in great condition and clean. I would not hesitate to ask Bradley for help when the need arises.
Michael took excellent care of my dog while I was traveling. My dog can be a little difficult on walks around other dogs, and Michael had no issue taking him on walks and managing his difficulties. He sent regular updates and pictures while I was gone. I would absolutely recommend Michael, and I hope he’s able to watch my dog again!
Mickela was truly a dream house sitter! She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, sent lots of photos and updates, and, most importantly, spent so much time with our pets. We really appreciated knowing they were getting plenty of attention and care while we were away. Our dog has epilepsy and needs medication, which Mickela handled with no problem at all. He also has a habit of getting into things and eating things he shouldn’t, and she was so understanding and attentive to his quirks. She took such great care of both our pets and made us feel completely at ease. On top of all of that, she was extremely tidy and left our house absolutely spotless. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Mickela to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, responsive, and respectful of their home. We would absolutely have her stay with our pets again!
I was super nervous about leaving my dog with someone for a week. This was the first time for both of us. Abby was incredible from start to finish , super professional, prompt responses, lots of photos and videos. She stayed at my place full-time and to be honest with you when I got back. It was more clean than when I left it. Lol. If you’re looking for someone, who’s gonna love your dog and look after them like you would she’s definitely the person to book.
Keisha was absolutely wonderful with our Doberman, Ruger! She followed all of our instructions, including taking him out in the backyard, spent quality time playing with him, and kept us updated throughout the day with videos and messages. Thanks to Keisha, we were able to enjoy a full day celebrating our niece’s 10th birthday at the amusement park without worrying about Ruger.
