She flagged a heart failure episode early and worked with my dog’s cardiologist over the phone to adjust his mediation dosage to ensure he was stable while I was in flight. About: I grew up with many pets. For example, I’ve had 6 birds, 3 hamsters, 1 dwarf gerbil, 1 leopard gecko, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and possibly more. I currently have 2 dogs. Both are rescues. Jasper is 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was about a month old if even that, and Raleigh who is 7 now. I’ve had her since she was 2. Aside from the doggy babies, I also currently have a brown anole that I took in from Florida. His name is Tommy and I’ve had him for 4 months now. He was a baby when I found him. I also have 2 fish, Gumball and Penny. I personally believe all animals are babies. I’ve also pet sit for family members before. I’m currently working part time and I am also a freshman in College. I do have a good bit of free time, and because I don’t live alone I have people home to help take care of my furry and scaled friends, where as some people may need some extra help that I’d be able to provide! I was raised right. I’m respectful, do not cross boundaries, and know better than to disrespect clients (human and animal, of course!) I’m a big empath, I love animals beyond comprehension. I’m a vegetarian that’s working my way to veganism if that can show you how empathetic I am. I also cry while watching Ratatouille. I love walking, I love talking to animals, I treat animals as if they are literal babies because they are just too cute!

Mickela was truly a dream house sitter! She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, sent lots of photos and updates, and, most importantly, spent so much time with our pets. We really appreciated knowing they were getting plenty of attention and care while we were away. Our dog has epilepsy and needs medication, which Mickela handled with no problem at all. He also has a habit of getting into things and eating things he shouldn’t, and she was so understanding and attentive to his quirks. She took such great care of both our pets and made us feel completely at ease. On top of all of that, she was extremely tidy and left our house absolutely spotless. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend Mickela to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, responsive, and respectful of their home. We would absolutely have her stay with our pets again!
Trina was absolutely amazing! She kept me fully informed with regular updates throughout the entire stay, which gave me total peace of mind. To make things even better, my travel plans got seriously delayed on my way home, and Trina was incredibly responsible and accommodating. She immediately adjusted her own schedule to cover the extra time needed until I could get back. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be booking with her again!
Kayla was an amazing sitter for Asja during my time away! I am very particular about my dog and can normally gauge from the meet and greet if the sitter is a good fit. The care, attention to detail, follow up, professionalism, and the love she has for her job and her furry clients are just a few shining examples of her superior work ethic. We were gone for almost a week and I could enjoy my trip knowing she was there taking care of and giving the best of care to my Asja. I highly recommend Kayla and plan to use her for future sittings.
Natalie is an outstanding sitter. She is super professional and intentional with caregiving. Our dogs got plenty of exercise, stayed on their schedule, and got a ton of extra attention while we were away. We received updates and photos throughout. I am a first time Rover user, and was for a long time very wary of allowing strangers to take care of my fur babies. Roy, unequivocally, is the reason this site works. Roy communicated often, thoroughly, and was even patient when we had app difficulties and my communication lapsed. Roy took care of my two dogs and one cat and provided stimulation and lots of cuddles. We came home to a house that was pristine and three happy and healthy pets. As I told Roy personally, having the peace of mind to actually enjoy the vacation is nearly invaluable. We are very thankful to Roy and will definitely be booking again should the time come!
Overall my experience with Justina was okay. There were communication issues on arrival. I set the arrival time for the booking to 6-10pm. By 10pm I had not heard any arrival update. It took over 30 minutes to get ahold of Justina, including calling the emergency support line and prepping to leave my event to go back home. The ultimate arrival was nearly 2 hours past the set arrival time and my dog’s walk window. I do understand there was a vehicle issue and that unexpected things happen but communication is key. I would have made this a 5-star review if I had just been kept informed prior to the late arrival. Aside from the arrival issue the rest of the weekend went smoothly. Justina completed all requested walks and feeds in addition to sending pictures during the day. She also left my home spotless and well cared for.
