Taylor did a great job house sitting for our energetic puppy and 3 cats. She was reliable, responsive, and took great care of our house and pets. She even taught our puppy to sit while we were away! Our pup is still working on potty training and Taylor was up to the challenge and cleaned up her accidents without an issue. I would definitely recommend Taylor for house sitting and plan to rebook with her in the future!

5 stars! Very communicative and was sure to clarify any questions she had to ensure a great stay for our pets. Our anxious dog quickly took to her, showing us she knew how to handle even a giant dog who’s unsure of most humans. We highly recommend Taylor and hope she can continue to help us in the future!!

We had such a great experience with Taylor. She took amazing care of our dog, Blue, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She sent regular updates, photos, and gave our pup a lot of attention. We’re so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and caring. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again in the future!

I was skeptical after reading a bad review but after meeting Taylor and seeing her interact with all 8 of my dogs… there was no question that that review was left by some dramatic owner and was not an actual representation of Taylor. Taylor was left house sitting for a week, she communicated phenomenally, was exceptionally punctual to all the dogs needs given the time constraints needed to deal with 2 xl aggressive dogs, a special needs dog, a pregnant dog and 4 high maintenance English bulldogs… my house was cleaner after I got back then when I left…my only complaint is my dogs may miss her more now than they missed me lol. Taylor you’re a rockstar and thank you for everything

Safety, trust & environment

In both my home and my client's home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for pets under my care. When caring for pets in my own home, I ensure they have a designated area for rest, play, and feeding, tailored to their specific needs. Regular exercise and outdoor time are incorporated into their daily routine, and I maintain a clean and hygienic space to promote their well-being. Additionally, I adhere to any dietary restrictions or medical needs they may have, providing attentive care at all times. When providing in-home pet care for clients, I respect the pet's familiar environment and routine while offering companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation. I follow the owner's instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and any specific care requirements. Communication with the pet owner is essential to ensure their peace of mind and to address any concerns promptly. Overall, whether in my home or my client's home, I prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of the pets under my care, creating a loving and supportive environment for them to thrive.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day for me as a pet sitter might look something like this! Morning: Wake up and get ready for the day. Prepare breakfast for myself and any pets under my care. Take the dogs out for a morning walk or play session in the yard. Clean up any messes or accidents from the night. Check on pets, ensure they have food, water, and a clean living environment. Midday: Depending on the pets' needs, I might schedule another walk or playtime session. Administer any necessary medications or treatments. Spend time interacting with the pets, whether it's playing with toys, practicing training commands, or simply cuddling and providing companionship. Take care of any household chores or tasks, such as bringing in the mail or watering plants, while keeping an eye on the pets. Afternoon: If the weather allows, I might take the dogs for a longer walk or hike in a nearby park. Engage in enrichment activities, such as puzzle toys or agility exercises, to keep the pets mentally stimulated. Provide additional meals or snacks as needed. Take photos or videos of the pets to update their owners on how they're doing. Evening: Prepare dinner for the pets and myself. Wind down with some quiet time, such as brushing the pets or watching some TV while they relax nearby. Administer any evening medications or treatments. Spend quality time with the pets, giving them attention and affection before bedtime. Tuck the pets in for the night and ensure they're comfortable and secure. As for fun activities with the pets, it really depends on their individual preferences and energy levels.
