“Sanai did a great job taking care of my pup. She was great with my dog and very respectful of my home. She communicated well with me while I was away. I recommend her sitting services. I will also be working with her to walk my pup when I return to in person work.”

“Anh was amazing with Pico. She jumped in last minute and handled everything so thoughtfully - including some unexpected tummy issues and his occasional puppy chaos. She kept me fully updated the whole time and sent lots of great photos, which I really appreciated. It made such a difference being able to see how he was doing. Pico is used to being with me all the time, so social interaction is really important for him. Anh adjusted to Pico’s needs and routine and also made him part of hers - giving him so much extra love and attention. You can’t always guarantee that level of care when you’re away, and I’m so grateful I never had to worry. I would absolutely recommend Anh to anyone without hesitation!”

About: I grew up with many pets. For example, I’ve had 6 birds, 3 hamsters, 1 dwarf gerbil, 1 leopard gecko, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and possibly more. I currently have 2 dogs. Both are rescues. Jasper is 2 years old and I’ve had him since he was about a month old if even that, and Raleigh who is 7 now. I’ve had her since she was 2. Aside from the doggy babies, I also currently have a brown anole that I took in from Florida. His name is Tommy and I’ve had him for 4 months now. He was a baby when I found him. I also have 2 fish, Gumball and Penny. I personally believe all animals are babies. I’ve also pet sit for family members before. I’m currently working part time and I am also a freshman in College. I do have a good bit of free time, and because I don’t live alone I have people home to help take care of my furry and scaled friends, where as some people may need some extra help that I’d be able to provide! I was raised right. I’m respectful, do not cross boundaries, and know better than to disrespect clients (human and animal, of course!) I’m a big empath, I love animals beyond comprehension. I’m a vegetarian that’s working my way to veganism if that can show you how empathetic I am. I also cry while watching Ratatouille. I love walking, I love talking to animals, I treat animals as if they are literal babies because they are just too cute!

“Ashley was fantastic! One of the best rover experiences we’ve had. She did everything we requested and more. It’s evident that she loves dogs and our dogs loved her too, even our fragile shelter pup who takes awhile to warm up. Both our pups were calm, energetic and happy when we got home, couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Ada was amazing!! This was my first time using the App and she made me feel so comfortable. She agreed to a meet and greet prior to my house sitting dates and my dogs loved her instantly. She was very communicative and kept me informed on everything. As this was my first time leaving my babies with anyone outside of family, we were all a bit nervous and hoping this was a good match. My mom even checked in with Ada and she was totally cool with. My mom and dog both have dogs and we are pretty certain Ada has 3 new clients. Ada maintained my home wonderfully. She really was patient with and understanding and I would recommend her 10/10, especially for new clients.”

“Very grateful for Jayla!! She sent me constant updates on my pet with pictures and left my apartment incredibly neat. She even took the time to organize a bit. Would 100% work with her again.”

“Y’all, Kristal is the BEST. I messed up my dates and ended up out of town without a sitter. She showed up within 4 hours and saved me. She sent loads of pictures to ease my mind and was kind and playful with my kitty. It’s worth everything to know your pet is safe and happy and Kristal made that happen”

“My cats have never been so calm and happy when I return home from a trip. A’layza always communicated with me, sent me daily pictures of my fur babies, and left the house cleaner than it was. Highly recommended A’layza!”

About: Hi! I have been a pet parent for most of my life. I enjoy helping others in my community feel safe and less stressed with leaving their loved ones with someone! I can adjust to your needs and make things easy as possible. I usually respond very quickly and I am open to short notices as well! I am currently building an app and finishing up my Masters degree. I am looking for something to earn income while I finish strong on these projects. I have 3 rooms, I have doggy parks, normal parks, and various pet stores near me and vets for emergencies. I have an experienced pet owner besides myself available as well. I clean every two days in general and I clean my cats litter 1-2 times a day depending as well.
“Oksana was absolutely phenomenal, and we could not have asked for a better person to care for our dogs, Bo and Kobi. She was professional, reliable, and treated them with so much care and attention. Despite the summer heat and temperatures reaching 95 degrees, Oksana consistently took Bo and Kobi on walks once or twice a day and made sure they stayed happy and well cared for. She also looked after our home and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about our dogs’ well being. We returned home to two happy pups and a house that had been well looked after. We would recommend Oksana without hesitation. She exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly trust her with Bo and Kobi again. Thank you, Oksana, for taking such great care of our family!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for 12 years now! I am very loving, dependable and attentive. I provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment. About: Hello there! My name is Romon, you can also call me Griz. I suppose my friends see me as the momma or papa bear of the group haha. Anyway I've been taking care of my friend's, family's, and of course personal 'furry best friends'. I have a background in personal training and fitness. Never really ran into a dog that didn't like or respect me at least after the first couple treats or games I was able to play with them. Recently lost two friends one moved away the other, Sasha; a poodle mix of 12 years, passed away I was luckily able to spend more time with her during 2020 before she had to go. Her memories are still with me and I know many are back to work and wish they could spend more time with their newest pups. We can work together to make sure they're, well taken care of, and I just wanted to help out and lessen the load of watching over these wonderful epitomes of joy and energy. I've walked, sitted, played with, slept besides, and even cleaned up after all sorts of dogs from puppyhood to very senior dogs, 10lbs to 100+lbs believe it or not, can't seem to get a break from them, which I don't mind! Lastly I hope to get to know your fuzzy yet amazing family members on a professional and even better, personal level. Feel free to message for any questions I pay very close attention to any special instructions. I've recently found great streams of income im able to maintain at home while working on my online degree Fortunately my major for the 3rd semester in a row is online only. My schedule is pretty open and flexible so I wanted to make the most of my situation and again the main thing is to help out new or out of practice pet owners. Im free at all hours of day and night outside of a select few evenings where I train clients to achieve their fitness goals. Mostly online so feel free to reach out and schedule with me if youd like recurring services. We'll make it work. Im a capable and loving pet owner that doesn't mind breaking a sweat. I would love to keep your fur baby busy AND happy whether its a small walk with portable water bowls, at home self made doggy puzzles to keep their minds sharp and busy, even if I am tired, for those longer sessions. I have access and experience to great doggy parks equipped with fencing and great walking areas, and lots of car space for those longer trips or incase of an emergency where I have to safely transfer your fluffy children quickly. I have a lot of experience to share and rely on too much to list here but go ahead and quiz me at Fanaticallymotivated email on google for those of you new or unsure of my services with the Rover service provider. I hope to work with you both and take care of any worries.
“Mya was fantastic. She watched our two rowdy puppies, one of whom is only 5 months, while my husband and I were away for our wedding. You could tell she genuinely loved our dogs and was taking such good care of them. We came home and the house was immaculate and our dogs were so happy. She was on time, communicative, and detailed. I would hire her again in a second!”

About: I’ve worked many professional jobs that have allowed me the opportunity to work with cats and dogs from all ranges of breeds and ages. I have my own dog as well as 5 household cats! I love the joy pets bring into our lives and I enjoy caring for them. I’m flexible with most schedules and can incorporate them into my schedule. As long as I know of any changes ahead of time, I will always try my best to meet your needs. I respect others’ homes with the upmost regard and strictly follow instructions given i.e., “walk dog, ensure they have clean water, feed kibble” etc. Any specifics can be discussed and mutually agreed upon.

About: Cat papi Trav. Good for watching after your little fluff of love while you’re out enjoying yourself. Avid pet lover, but have a soft spot for cats Work from home so I have time to sneak in belly rubs and ear scratches throughout the day. If your cat/dog isn’t the most social we car look at each other from the across the room. I have a 2 bed room condo. Enough space for all to enjoy themselves. A nice park for the walks, and nice windows for the cats to peer into the outside world.

“My senior dog has a lot of medical and behavioral needs, and it’s hard for me to feel comfortable leaving him with a sitter. With Bria, not only did she seem to understand and love my old man, but she used her vet tech skills to administer all of his meds and closely monitor his respiratory rate. She flagged a heart failure episode early and worked with my dog’s cardiologist over the phone to adjust his mediation dosage to ensure he was stable while I was in flight. Bria’s expertise, reliable communication and nurturing personality were a godsend for my dog and me. I would definitely rebook and trust her implicitly. Would highly recommend, especially to go above and beyond for dogs with special needs.”
“Sereniti took care of my brood for two weeks while I was on vacation. They absolutely love her and so do I! She sends pictures, she lets me know what's going on. I was very secure in the knowledge that they were well taken care of by someone who loves them 😊 i would absolutely recommend Sereniti!! She is amazing 😊”

“Deloris did an amazing job house sitting and taking care of Holly! From the start, communication was great, and we felt completely at ease leaving Holly (and our home) in her care. She kept us updated with regular check-ins and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away.”

Kayla was an amazing sitter for Asja during my time away! I am very particular about my dog and can normally gauge from the meet and greet if the sitter is a good fit. The care, attention to detail, follow up, professionalism, and the love she has for her job and her furry clients are just a few shining examples of her superior work ethic. We were gone for almost a week and I could enjoy my trip knowing she was there taking care of and giving the best of care to my Asja. I highly recommend Kayla and plan to use her for future sittings.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Camp Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Camp Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Camp Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camp Springs. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
