About: I have always been around dogs and absolutely love pet sitting for friends and family! Whether it’s providing a high-energy playtime session or just hanging out and keeping them company, I treat every single pet as if they were my own. Right now, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your furry family members. I can accommodate your routine, whether your pet needs midday check-ins, long walks, or a dedicated house sitter. I take pride in keeping your home clean, secure, and organized while ensuring your pet receives all the attention, love, and structure routine they need to feel comfortable while missing you. I also know how reassuring it is to see how your pet is doing while you’re away, so you can expect plenty of photo updates. I just relocated to the Alexandria/Del Ray area to start my next job, which means I have nothing but free time! No matter what service you need, I am super flexible any day, at any time to fit seamlessly into your pets normal routine. Whether I’m sitting in your home or out on a walk, I treat your space and your pup with the utmost respect and caution. I always maintain a secure, hazard-free environment, strictly follow your established house rules and feeding/medication instructions, and keep your dogs safely leashed on walks. You can rest easy knowing your home and pet are safely taken care of.
About: I have been taking care off dogs since age five, when my family first got my childhood dog. Since then I have cared for two other dogs, providing basic training. Professionally, I have been watching dogs for 4 years, walking, feeding, and providing a fun experience to many dogs. I love dogs and would be so happy to care for yours! I currently work part time, mostly on the weekends. This means I would have around the clock time to assist during the week. For the weekends, I could board dogs if they are able to be apart for up to six hours, which typically would not happen. I have a large one bedroom apartment which will allow ample space to play with the dog inside. Regarding being outside, I love going on walks and can take them to the dog park, as well as using the yard outside my apartment.
About: I've cared for animals of varying breeds, shapes, and sizes since I was a young girl. As an aspiring veterinarian, I've made staying informed and attentive to animal's needs my top priority. In my time taking care of other's pets, I've conduced overnight stays, routine check-ins, walking & enrichment activities, mild grooming, as well as medication administration. I keep detailed logs of the eating, drinking, and energy levels of the pets I watch and communicate regularly with the owners. This way, I can ensure that your loved ones are receiving the attention they need to thrive in your time apart. I have a pure, genuine love for animals, and I look forward to meeting your pet! I currently work as a Veterinary Nurse at a clinic with 3 days off a week. With proper notice, I am comfortable rearranging my schedule to meet the needs of your pet. I have open availability on Wednesdays and weekends as well. I make sure to thoroughly read and notate any instructions left by the owners. I understand that allowing someone into your home is a huge act of trust, and I make it a point to remain considerate, respectful, and tidy as I operate around the house. I understand that being around new company can be stressful for some animals, so I make sure to slowly build a bond that allows your pet to trust me.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
