About: I've had animals all my life from birds, to dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and more. My favorite animal is a tiger but I know what it means to love something and have to let it go after a while. I work from home and can keep the pet company the same as it does me. I walk a lot to get inspiration for my writing and love to have furry companions along. If it's a cat we can both chill together and enjoy the presence of royalty. I don't have any other animals staying with me at the moment and plan to only ever have one over at a time when working. For cats, I live on the fourth floor of an apartment with a balcony that I use often, so I trust they are smart enough not to jump or have 1 life or more left if they decide to.

About: Available to walk or do check ins! I am lifetime pet lover, current dog owner! My family had cats all of my life, and I used to pet sit for my neighbors growing up. I always wanted a dog of my own, so in 2015, I adopted a sweet and affectionate, hound mix named Murphy. Murphy is my partner in crime and has been such a joy in my life; I love spending time with him and taking care of him! I work during the day on weekdays but my hours are pretty flexible and I am fully remote. In terms of dog walking, I am a very active person so as long as they are able, we can go on hikes, runs, and long walks! I am fullly remote - work from home so my availability is very flexible. Weekdays - I can do mornings or after 3pm. Saturday - all day Sunday - 1-5pm I offer walking and check ins - I will treat you home with respect and happily take care of your dog while you are away.
About: I currently work at Hope Advanced Veterinary Center as a veterinary technician/ assistant in the Emergency Department. I have happily worked in this field for 6 years and will continue to work in this field, starting with general practice (the adorable puppy visits) Veterinary science has given me the opputrunity to work with all domesticated canines and felines. The confident and less reactive pets and pets who are scared and tend to be skittish or may even bite sometimes. With my expericence I believe I can have a great time with your pet and make each other very comfortable with my walks and visits. Also if your pet need any kind of medical help I can help with that also. A bonding experience with a new pet is what I literally thrive for.Big dogs and attitude filled cats are my favorite to look after, but my heart is open for every animal big or small. My expertise in the veterinary medical field would make me a great candidate to be your pets bestfriend. As an ER vet nurse I work 13 hours shifts 3 days a week Sun-Tues. I have one canine and one feline at home and we typically spend our days off outside in the park enjoying the sun. 4 days out the week I am able to commute and walk dogs and also pay house visits. So that way I can have more than 3 days out the week to enjoy other animal companions. Unfortunately I do not have enough space in my home to provide boarding, also my cat is easily stressed and I would hate to make her uncomfortable in her home. She also can be a bit of a queen.

“Katarina took great care of my cat while I was out of town! I loved all the updates I received and appreciated her communication and flexibility. I will definitely be booking Katarina in the future and know that I am leaving Darcy in great hands.”

“Jasmine was very professional and an excellent caretaker for Luna. She followed my exact care instructions and provided constant updates to make sure I knew Luna was comfortable. I highly recommend hiring Jasmine to watch your pet!”

“Stacie was very good with my cat Indi, she is very responsive and is so good with animals. She spent well over asking time with her (I asked for an hour, she always stayed 2) and you can just tell that she loves the pets that she sits just like her own. She is so kind and always keeps you in the loop. My cat has often had many accidents in the house due to stress when I leave and nothing like that happened when I was away and I am very impressed. Would 100% recommend Stacie!”

“Erica was great with our cat. She was very responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond, e.g. by also bringing the mail inside and stopping by for an additional, next-day visit. Would definitely recommend her and work with her again. Thank you, Erica!”

“Thank you so much for taking excellent care of our Little AJ and our home! Gabby has strong communication skills and she is very much a fully grown reliable grown up. She is dependable and very clear with timing and texting. Have to say this having dealt with a few different pet sitters over the years. :). Definitely will be working with Gabby again!!!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have been a dog walker for Wag in the past and watch multiple friends pups all the time making sure they are fed, have fresh water and a clean space. I love playing fetch or creating games to keep dogs active and engaged. Most of all I’ll be sure to give your dog all the love and pets! I currently work full time so nights or weekends are best for my schedule. I live in National Harbor so Alexandria/Maryland area is easiest for me coverage-wise. I am happy to play, walk and care for cats or dogs. I will make sure your pet has all they need be it food, water, activity, medications, etc. till you return!
Glassmanor cat parents share their Rover experiences
Cassandra, was AWESOME!!! She took such good care of Felix. I had to be out for several days come back and then be gone again for some time, however I didn't have to worry about his care while she was watching him. Not only that he had some ear scratches and that she informed me of and he now has a vet appointment but it was so nice to have a sitter to care enough to let me know and to monitor that.
