“Julie was amazing! I would use her services without hesitation. Very professional and competent. Daily would send me pics and videos. I never for one moment was worried about the care she was providing my furry son. I highly recommend her! My cat connected with her and went into cat loaf and pet me mode almost immediately. That in itself is a huge sign of her highly rated skill level.”

“Andrea has been amazing! The dogs love her. She is very responsive and gives great updates in her visit details. She was willing to stop by ahead of our first scheduled drop-in to meet the pups. I’ve rebooked with her and plan to continue!”

“Per usual Kathryn is an amazing pet sitter. She is my primary cat sitter & both my kitties & I absolutely love her. She’s on time, friendly, helpful & leaves the best follow ups!”

“Ian was wonderful with my two cats! Displayed great communication to me and great attentiveness to my cats while gone for two weeks. I was at ease knowing they were being taking care of. I would recommend Ian and rebook with him in the future!”

“We absolutely loved having Samantha look after our pup! She gave such thoughtful, detailed after-visit reports that we loved reading as it gave us great comfort while we were away. Will be booking with her again!”

“Great service, very thorough. We loved the daily reports and photos. We feel very confident that our cats are in good hands and everything is perfect upon our return”

“Nicollette has been absolutely wonderful for our two pups! We have a Great Dane who is super nervous but warmed up to Nicollete in no time. She always send a summary and pictures. We will definitely schedule with her again!”

“Amanda took great care of Nugget while I was out of town. He tends to be a bit shy around strangers but came right up to greet her when she stopped by before I left town. Amanda said Nug purred the whole time she was over, which means that she passed the vibe check. I would absolutely trust her with him again!”

“Anica took such good care of our dog and cat. Even though our cat is spicy, she still went out of her way to engage with her safely! When our dog got a tick, she removed it for us instead of waiting for us to get home. She was also super flexible when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. It was such a comfort when things were chaotic, we knew Anica was taking great care of our babies. Will definitely be using her services again!”

I currently work full-time, but have a very flexible in person versus remote schedule most weeks. I am able to decide which day I am where. I provide pets with the daily routines that they are accustomed to to make your time away from home as easy as possible for them.

About: Hello! My name is Hailee , I’m 18 years old, and I’m extremely responsible when it comes to caring for animals. I absolutely adore pets of all kinds, and since I plan on becoming a marine biologist in college, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I truly love all animals with no discrimination at all. Over the years I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets including four dogs of all different sizes, rodents, snakes, hermit crabs, fish, and many others, so I’m very comfortable tending to different types of animals and their specific needs. I currently cat sit for my neighbor’s tabby cat who has hyperthyroidism, and I’ve learned how important patience, attentiveness, and consistency are when caring for pets with medical needs. I’m dependable, caring, and would genuinely love the opportunity to help out in any way I can. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, not just a responsibility. I am currently in high school, but I graduate in about two weeks. My daily routine usually starts with waking up and feeding my puppy, then playing ball with him in the backyard. If I am taking care of my neighbor’s cat, I walk over to their house to feed him, refill his water, and clean his litter box. After that, I really enjoy spending quality time with him, as long as he is feeling comfortable and social. Over the summer, I am almost always available except for about one week in July before I head off to college. I really enjoy fitting animal-related activities into my daily life, so I am very excited to have more time to help care for pets and stay active doing something I love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow any specific instructions given to make sure each pet stays comfortable and safe in their normal environment. I start by making sure they are fed on time and always have fresh water available. I also handle cleaning tasks like litter box maintenance or any messes that may come up. If dog walking is part of the service, I make sure to keep the dog safe at all times by avoiding unsafe environments, and being cautious around unfamiliar people, animals, and distractions. I pay close attention to their behavior during walks to ensure they are comfortable and secure. Beyond basic care, I also spend quality time with the pets so they feel comfortable and not lonely while their owners are away. I pay attention to their needs, especially if they have medical conditions or specific routines that need to be followed. I also make sure to respect the client’s home by keeping everything clean, organized, and exactly as it was left. Overall, my goal is to provide reliable, attentive, and caring service so both the pets and their owners feel at ease.
About: I've had dogs my whole life and very comfortable walking them and taking care of them. For the last 5 years, I lived with my best friend who had 2 dogs that I took care of during the day while she was at work. I was responsible for walking them 2x/day and taking care of them during the day. I am comfortable walking more than 1 dog and love getting to know animals! I have a very flexible schedule, some days more open than others. I create my schedule for the most part so I can usually work around your schedule, if need be. I walk 10k+ steps every day just for health reasons so walking dogs and for long walks are no issue. I am also super flexible for weekend needs. I am super gentle with animals, I love getting to know animals and spending time with them. I know most animals have their own quirks and I love finding them! I'm a huge animal lover at heart and generally just love being around them.

Andie was a terrific cat sitter for my kitties. She communicated well throughout and followed my instructions. Although not all my kitties are happy to interact with people they don’t know, Andie did her best to be report on each one. It was very reassuring to have her taking care of them!!

Sophia was great to work with! She was willing to accommodate my request with short notice and was flexible when I needed to modify plans. She was very communicative and sent photo updates. She gave great attention and care to my two pets. They were immediately comfortable with her. I will definitely book her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Belle Haven. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
