“Matt did such a wonderful job caring for our 3 cats and our home. We received tons of pictures and videos each time he dropped in to see the cats. We could tell that he really got to know each of their personalities and we were able to relax on our trip knowing that our fur babies were in good hands. When we returned from the trip, our house was freshly vacuumed and possibly tidier than we had left it. Thank you, Matt, for taking such good care of Crumb, Kevin, and Ollie!”

“This was our second trip with Sarah. She is reliable, she goes above and beyond, and you can tell she loves animals. We feel so grateful to have her to look after our cat when we’re out of town.”

About: I am a life long pet parent to furry friends of all varieties. Growing up, my family had two dogs and three cats, and in adulthood I have had 10+ years of independent pet ownership. I am compassionate, confident, and dutiful in my approach towards animals, and I am to be responsive, prompt, and organized in my communication with you. I'll look forward to taking the best care of your pets! Some fun facts: While living overseas in Africa after college, I found a group of six, two-week old kittens that had been abandoned outside the NGO where I worked. I had the privilege of taking them in, nursing them to health, watching them grow, and eventually finding them forever homes. It was challenging, but very rewarding! My first pet after retuning to the U.S. was a hedgehog named Lilah. While I have the greatest amount of experience caring for cats, I'm confident looking after your other fur babies as well! I am currently the proud co-cat-parent to three lovely ladies - Sefi (14), Billie (5), and Sammie (5). I am also an 11-year USCG veteran, and my career has taught me the importance of diligence, respect, timeliness, and communication. I am currently a graduate student talking classes at Johns Hopkins in Washington, D.C. While my schedule varies slightly day by day, I generally have wide variety of morning, afternoon, and early evening availability most days. On select weekdays and weekends, I have full-day availability. For in-home visits, my priority is up-front communication with you so that I can ensure I do what is needed to respect your pets' environment and keep them on their normal routine while you're away. While my home is not currently configured for boarding of dogs or cats due to restrictions on my lease, I care for small animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. as required.
“Kaitlyn was amazing, she came for cat sitting at our last minute request, and took amazing care of our cats, including our one cat who was recently diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. She carefully looked out for our girl and gave her medication twice a day. Kaitlyn is incredibly responsible, kind, loving, and reliable- I wish we had her for more time before she leaves the area!”

About: I am a lifelong dog lover and have grown up surrounded by pets. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and I’d love the opportunity to look after your furry family member! I share my home with Luna, my miniature dachshund. She’s a bit shy at first but gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Luna attends daycare sometimes, so she’s well socialized and comfortable around new friends of all sizes. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medical or special needs, including administering medication and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. When your pet stays with me, you can rest assured they’ll be treated like one of my own. I’m happy to make any special accommodations to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a hybrid schedule and I work 10 minutes from my office. I am home most days to care for your pet and I can leave work throughout the day to check on them. I have a 3 floor townhouse in a friendly neighborhood with a walkout basement and fenced in yard. My neighborhood is great for walks and our backyard if a nice place for your dog to roam free! I am also able to crate your dog if you prefer. My dog Luna does not use a crate.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats and currently have three dogs of my own. With 5 years of experience working as a kennel assistant, I’ve developed strong skills in pet care and handling. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments, ensuring each pet receives the attention and care they need. I’m currently a college student with plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m free Friday-Monday, most of Wednesdays and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I follow their regular routines for feeding, exercise, and playtime to help reduce stress and keep them happy. I also provide plenty of attention, ensuring pets feel secure and loved while their owners are away.
“We have a nine year old dog with anxiety. It takes several visits so she will remember someone one and warm up to them. Zoe has been amazing. She is always on time. She is patient and gentle. She was able to build trust with our dog so that I can now leave for a long afternoon and not worry.”

About: I have watched dogs and cats for the last 20+ years for family members and friends. Recently I have been watching senior doggos that require a bit more attention. Whether that be providing medicines or being patient with their routine. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible. My wife helps out from time to time. She will occasionally accompany me for meet and greets, but she mostly acts as a backup. We will let you know when booking if she will be helping out or not. She also has 20+ years of experience with pets. Working from home with a very flexible schedule. If your house as good wifi, I can hang around nearly all day. Can also spend nights if needed. Available most weeks, but do travel from time to time. Prefer to watch pets in their own environment to limit their stress levels. For cats, I typically will spend nearly all day with them, or at the very least, visit twice per day for a an hour or two depending on how social the cat is. The more social, the more time I will hang around and provide the cat company. If a cat is not very social or doesn't like company, I'll cover the basics of feeding, watering, changing litter, ensuring the cat is alive and well, but will provide the cat their space.
About: I've had my own dog for years and have watched friends' and neighbors' dogs many times. The dogs I've cared for have ranged in breed, size, personality, feeding and walking habits, and I've been able to manage them all well. I am a substitute teacher in the local area and have a relatively flexible schedule to take care of your pets' needs throughout the day. I follow directions for pet care to a T! I treat every pet as my own and put your pet's safety, wellbeing, and happiness as my highest priority. Also, dogs are just the darned cutest.
Wellington cat parents share their Rover experiences
Frank is the cat whisperer. Everything I said about my cat not eating and not appearing while gone was apparently a lie because Frank got so many pictures of my cat betraying me. Toulouse clearly trusted Frank right away and Frank was able to read Toulouse's warning signs really well. He did a great job with the outside stray kitties too. This was my first time leaving Toulouse with a stranger and it went better than all the times I had a friend or roommate do it. This was a test run and I feel 100% confident I can actually go away on a proper vacay and Toulouse will be in awesome hands.

Nichole was wonderful! The moment I met her, I knew she was the right fit for my two cats. Her love for cats made me secure enough to trust her with my own fur babies. We had great communication the entire time and I appreciate her amazing service and care. Will def book with her again and again!

Rebecca did an exceptional job taking care of our cats and fish too! She spent substantial time at each drop in visit - making sure she didn’t just feed our cats but also gave them play time and snuggles. I received thorough and thoughtful updates from Rebecca and photos each day too! Our house was left in excellent condition as well! Would absolutely use Rebecca any time we need a pet sitter!
