I'm a retired PhD now at home full time. My daughter started 6th grade and my wife works a hybrid schedule. I spend my days outside (or in) with our 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Our goal is to provide ‘small batch’, personalized, daycare and boarding. We have a .25 acre fenced yard with large trees for shade and pet-safe landscaping. We also have a large brick patio with plenty of beds and an outdoor fan for lounging. If boarding, we keep pups in crates in our living room, or our bedroom if they need extra love. If your pup is not crate trained, we are happy to set up a bed in our room.

I love all dogs. If your dog has any issues (social or medical), let me know beforehand so I can accommodate their needs. I want them to love coming here and to be able to host them for repeat visits.
A typical day
Your dog’s day starts with a nice long walk in the early am. Then, home for breakfast and medicines (if required). The pups can join me outside for yard work and play or nap in the sunroom that looks out over the backyard. Weather permitting, we run the sprinklers for a bit of water play. In the afternoon, we have lunch and another long walk when the weather cools.

Pet care experience
Pets are family in our home. Even the pets that are just visiting. I keep my daycare and boarding numbers low to guarantee a safe, stress free environment for your pet. I give each puppy a dry shampoo rub in the afternoon so they won’t come back to you smelling like a kennel. I’ll happily give them a full bath on especially muddy days. *To ensure the best care for your dogs, I only keep 4 dogs a day for daycare/ boarding. They have free roam of our dog-friendly home.* I'm breed savvy with decades of experience caring for rescues and special needs pups. I'm excited to meet your dog and love them like family!

We are always so grateful when Matthew watches Archie! We know he is in good hands and having a great time. The best part is all the great photos and videos Matthew sends. It helps us get through how much we miss our little guy when we are away.
Really went above and beyond for my young puppies. Each picture I received showed me that they had a great time! Very thankful for the service as it put my mind at ease while I was away from my girls during the work day.
Matt did such a wonderful job caring for our 3 cats and our home. We received tons of pictures and videos each time he dropped in to see the cats. We could tell that he really got to know each of their personalities and we were able to relax on our trip knowing that our fur babies were in good hands. When we returned from the trip, our house was freshly vacuumed and possibly tidier than we had left it. Thank you, Matt, for taking such good care of Crumb, Kevin, and Ollie!
Wow! The pictures, communication, and happy puppy has made it so that we will never look for another sitter. Matthew is perfect with dogs! Our giant baby came home happy, healthy, AND brushed! Just wow, brushing that giant alone is a task in itself, we weren't expecting that extra!!!! Matthew is the best.
