“I reached out to Quiana in the late evening on Su day night hoping to arrange care for my pup on Tuesday morning. Quiana responded promptly, and though I had a morning full of meetings, and I was scheduled to travel on Monday afternoon, Quiana suggested and made herself available for a meet and greet early Monday morning. Aksel loved her immediately, showed his ball off to her and even tried sharing it with her (unheard of with strangers). Aksel has separation anxiety and usually has a pretty hard time when I travel. After seeing Quiana for 2 mornings in a row (meet & greet included), Aksel woke up on fhe 3rd day anticipating her arrival. He pickup up his stuffy and stood at the door waiting. Needless to say, seeing that instantly made my heart smile. He has a long top knot and shook out his ponytail, she took time to find something to his hair back before leaving When it's wet outside, she attempts to at least dry his feet, even though he's more interested in playing tug of war with the towel. She's my favourite person of the month and is definitely going to be a part of Aksel's village moving forward.”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in the house. I have experience caring for both from birth to end of life. I can give medications, hand feed, clean incontinence/accidents, scoop and clean litter boxes, administer subcutaneous IV fluids, walk, play, and anything your baby may need. I will care for them as if they are my own and would love to spoil them. My schedule is semi-flexible as I work from home. I’m available afternoons and evenings. About: I’ve had and loved pets my entire life! (I was convinced I was going to be a vet until I realized I would very likely sob every time a pet got sick.) From my black lab, Raven, to my cats Lily and Langston, to now, my long-haired chihuahua, Midge, animals are just a part of the day-to-day! Since age 12, I’ve been petsitting for friends, family, and neighbors (including overnight stays) and cared for dogs who are super energetic, playful, and independent to dogs who experience some anxiety and might need a bit more attention❤️! I also have experience caring for a bit older doggos. My black lab, Raven, lived to 16 and as her mobility and needs changed, I changed with her and it really taught me to be very attentive, gentle, and adaptive to a pets needs. I’m comfortable and experienced with walking, feeding, brushing, playtime, litter boxes, and loving and attention when pets want or need it❤️! So whether your pet is super energetic and playful or just wants a calm, reassuring companion, I’m happy to match their vibe and energy and make them feel loved and at home☺️🐾! I’m a rising junior at Virginia Tech and home for the summer, working part-time as a server in the Fort Hunt/Hybla Valley area. I have a super flexible schedule and lots of free time to spend with your pets, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or whatever else your pet might need😊! Mainly, I care for pets in the comfort of their own home with walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays! I make sure to stick to their routine, make sure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise (or just hang out if that’s more their style!) I don’t usually host pets in my home, but I’m super flexible and want to make sure your pet feels happy and loved, and I’ll always make sure to send updates and pics📸🫶!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and I’m looking forward to taking care of yours. I have a dog of my own who is a 28lb mini labradoodle. She's super sweet and social, and part of the reason I like to dog sit is because she likes having a buddy around to play with. I work from home every day so Sage and I will be with your dog all day! I live in an apartment building but I am near a walking trail and dog park. I work from home so I'll be home during day! In case I have to run out for errands I would like to know how you board your dog when you're away. I will be available if you have any questions/concerns. **Please ensure that your dog comes fully groomed/clean!** I take my dog on a long walk once in the morning (8 am) and once in the afternoon (5:30 pm) with a short potty break mid day and right before bed. I can adjust my schedule to ensure your dog feels comfortable! If I go to a dog park but I typically go early in the mornings or mid day when it is empty. If you don’t want your dog at a dog park at all that’s 100% fine with me!
