About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in the house. I have experience caring for both from birth to end of life. I can give medications, hand feed, clean incontinence/accidents, scoop and clean litter boxes, administer subcutaneous IV fluids, walk, play, and anything your baby may need. I currently own a small farm and have experience caring for all types of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and sheep. About: I’ve been passionate about animal science and animal welfare for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a veterinary technician at an animal hospital in the DC area. I’ve worked at the Smithsonian Zoo, NIH facilities, doggy daycare and boarding facilities, animal clinics, and a humane society shelter for birds, cats, dogs, rodents and reptiles. I will be applying for veterinary school this summer and I am currently in a Master’s program with a concentration in bioengineering. I’m currently working full-time at an animal hospital, including mornings on Saturday. I have two days during the week that I am off the clock.
