Safety, trust & environment
For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any specific triggers or spots on their body that they do not like to be touched or petted.
A typical day
I will try my best to stick to their routine and do whatever makes them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible (whether that is just hanging out together or doing some type of enrichment activity).

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting).
Reviews

Sarah was an attentive and conscious sitter. She always sent me an update and even got my hesitant cat to play a bit. I felt confident my cat was being well looked after and will be using Sarah's services again.
Sarah was fantastic! She was so kind to our kitties and made us feel comfortable leaving them for whole week. Our babies were in wonderful hands, and we absolutely would book her to sit for them again anytime!

My dogs absolutely love Sarah! She takes them out on walks while I’m working and it gives me such peace of mind to know someone is checking in on them. She is very communicative and the pictures I get of them make my whole day. It makes me feel so much better that my babies are being taken care of while I’m gone for the day.

Sarah was fabulous as a drop in sitter for my cat while I was on vacation. She took pictures and gave me details about how my cat was doing while she was there. She was also very prompt with messaging before, during, and after the booking.
