Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting).

Safety, trust & environment
For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

First time booking with Sarah, and she was fantastic! Punctual, communicative, and our pup (who tends to sulk when we go on vacation) was doing zoomies in the yard with her by the second day, so clearly he approves :) House was clean as a whistle when we returned, and Sarah was also nice enough to water our plants in addition to handling all the dog duties. Would definitely book with her again.
Sarah was able to check in on Sascha with very little notice. She took care of her just like her recent visits with no issues. Sarah is very reliable and can be counted on to handle whatever needs your pet may have. Thx Sarah!

I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends).
