For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule. I can stay and keep your pets company all day (as long as my Rover schedule allows, feel free to ask me!) or visit multiple times throughout the day before staying overnight. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting).

Sarah was fantastic! She took great care of my cat, sent plenty of updates, and was very responsive. My guy was in good hands, and judging from the pics Sarah sent, was also very happy. I highly recommend Sarah for your cat-sitting needs, and I plan on using her again!
Sarah has been a lifesaver for me! She is helping me out with my new kitten while I'm away on travel. Her visits are very thorough and she lets me know my kitten's mood, how much she's eating, drinking, and info about her litter box situation too. She includes pictures of my pet that put my mind at ease knowing she is well-cared for and happy! I also plan to use Sarah for walking my dog when I need the help as well.
