About: Hi there! I’m Grant - my wife and I are huge dog lovers. In April of 2025, we lost our first dog, Moose, a 90lb golden retriever mix. To honor his memory, we began a fostering journey. We successfully fostered out 5 dogs (3 of them seniors) to their forever homes over the next year (including the 5th one, who became our own!). We are aquatinted with all kinds and sizes with dogs. It’s been an honor to get to know each one and explore their unique personalities! We currently have 2 dogs of our own at home: Ellie, a 3yo petite Great Pyrenees, and Charlie, a 2yo Australian Shepherd. They LIVE for playing with other dogs - we’d love to host your pup and provide them a happy, fun, safe space to stay while you are away. Do you have a big dog? Are you anxious about it pulling your dog walker? I’ve got experience with large dogs pulling and I can handle yours. I will give them the distance and space they need to have a happy and safe walk. I wake up early in the morning around 5:00 to work out before I start my day off and I’m home everyday at 12:00 after class. I rarely have plans on the weekend so I am mostly free the whole day Saturday and Sunday. I have a secured gated apartment that also has a dog area so they can socialize and get plenty of exercise if needed. I clean every week and have plenty of space. I will have a specialized area directly for your pet to enjoy them self that is also nearby my room if they have anxiety.

About: My first two rescues were Rottweilers my third and only child is the child that my mom blessed me with. She is a needy, loving girl but high energy so I’ve dealt with everything from couch potato to high Strong lovely I work from home and my height energy baby is used to go out multiple times a day and she is great with any dog she needs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I am very active walking them in the neighborhood and we will always make time to go out. We are sidekick and we go walking together, dog parks together, but also she has not ever met a dog that she doesn’t love. Even those in the neighborhood that don’t get along with others love her. I do not have kids, but my nieces who are 5 to 9 or around her often so she is great with them, but I also understand those that don’t want their dog around kids so I will not bring them around them if they are uncomfortable.

Jennifer was wonderful with Belle! Usually Belle is a bit apprehensive, but she warmed up from the start. Jennifer was very reassuring and attentive. She took Belle for multiple walks and kept me updated on her progress. She had a ton of toys, which Belle loved. I would definitely use her again.
This was Augie’s first time spending time away from us with strangers and Marie was very welcoming and seemed to understand dogs and Augie felt at home. Marie also had a good size enclosed yard. She communicated and responded to my texts about on how he was doing. I would use her again, if I was traveling through Washington DC.
I'm so glad that Boba got to stay with Allie, Austin, and Oakley because we are already familiar with each other from me and Boba taking care of Oakley. They know Boba well and took such good care of him. Allie shared cute pictures and updates throughout the day, which I appreciated greatly!
