With us you get not only one but TWO dedicated pet sitters! My partner and I have been around dogs and pets since we were kids, and we've had my chihuahua mix for 4 years now. I volunteer at shelters and rescues, have dog sat for friends and family for years, and have fostered dogs of all ages. We love dogs of all sizes and personalities and we'd be honored to take care of your best friend! Please note we offer pick up and drop off for an additional fee. TO ANY RETURNING CLIENTS: I have moved locally sooner than I expected. I now live in Del Ray, Alexandria. I am still happy to come pick up/drop off your pup!

Nina and Chris were great! We had a super last minute (literally night before) dog watcher cancellation and they quickly confirmed their availability. Our girl got lots of activity and love! Highly recommend to all in the Del Rey area!
Nina and Chris were so awesome with our dog Mischa while we were out of town for five nights!! They set up a meet and greet prior to Mischa’s stay, sent daily photo updates during her stay, and were flexible and communicative throughout which was so greatly appreciated while we were away. It was evident Mischa was in great hands! Mischa will be staying with Nina and Chris again very soon and we would highly recommend them!!
Del is spending a lot of time at Nina’s this summer since I’ve had several work trips and vacations - and she is having a great time every time :-)

Schedule
My partner and I are both personal trainers and work at most just 4-5 hours at a time, and can hang out and love on your pet the rest of the time! Even when one of us is out it is likely the other one is home with your pup, and even if we both have to step out your furry friend will always have my chihuahua mix for company. He loves to nap inside and then enjoy multiple walks a day around the neighborhood. We'll be able to play together all day everyday!

My dog gets along with everyone and is a wonderful play companion. However, he can also take naps and mind his own business if your dog prefers! We live in an apartment with plenty of room to play, and I have an extra room where I can crate your dog if needed. If your dog loves the dog park we are happy to take them - Ricky is a regular!

A typical day
I'll keep your pup active and happy all day! There is a lot to see on the walk around my neighborhood, and even two dog parks if your pup enjoys them. We'll play inside, have some treats (if allowed), and if your dog loves car rides I'm happy to take them out for a spin. Your furry friend will always have me and my chihuahua mix all day for naps and play!

- I would like to know about any quirks or behavior issues your pup may be working on. This could include leash pulling, reactions to other dogs, getting into trash/chewing on household items that aren't toys. I would also love to know their energy levels, as my dog is moderately active but usually matches the energy of the dog around him! **SPECIAL NOTE: if your dog barks excessively, especially when left in the home, please do not book with me. I try very hard to be considerate of my neighbors!**
