I own my two-story home, which is nestled in a beautiful Alexandria neighborhood. A six-foot fenced backyard is perfect for secure outdoor play or relaxing downtime. My own social and sweet-natured 42-lb doggie loves to share her toys and companionship with pets of all breeds and sizes, ensuring an easy integration into a loving and comforting atmosphere. Information Cynthia H. would like to know about your pet
To ensure a harmonious “fit”, my dog Piper and I love to meet new doggies before they come stay with us. During this meet‑and‑greet, your fur baby gets to sniff and explore. We will chat about your doggie's temperament, history, health, and specific care needs—so it feels "just right" before officially joining our pack. Prior to our meet, please share an image/pix of your pet's vet vaccination status. For dogs: must be vaccinated for at least Distemper, Rabies, and Bordatella. For cats: Rabies, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia), and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). Vaccinations must be current prior to meets and start of care. Daycare / Pick Up / Drop-Off Hours: - Weekday: 7 am - 6:30 pm - Weekend or Holiday: 10 am - 6 pm Note: Daycare rate on weekends and holidays, same.
A typical day
We spend a lot of time in the yards on warmer days, so your fur baby can expect to engage in fun romps and fetch with me; and supervised play with other furry friends. The living room has a huge window ideal for people and bird-watching; and ample space for play. The dogs are allowed on the couch, and have several clean comfortable beds for lounging and naps.
