“Daisy was a last-second lifesaver! She was able to deal with my reactive dog even without my being there at the beginning, and she took her on a good long walk. I would be happy to hire her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old and have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m also happy to follow specific routines, feeding instructions, and care needs to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently in school and have class Monday through Thursday from 6–8 PM. Outside of those hours, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, walks, and other pet-care needs throughout the week, including weekends. I have a pet-friendly apartment in a safe and comfortable environment where your dog can feel at home. My apartment also has access to a dog park, giving your pup plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and fresh air. I’ll make sure your pet receives attentive, loving care and that their routine and individual needs are respected while they’re with me.

“Kadyah was wonderful with Dakota! This was our first time booking with her, and she was communicative, reliable, and took great care of her. I felt completely comfortable knowing Dakota was in good hands, and she seemed so happy with her. I would absolutely book with Kadyah again and highly recommend her!”

“After scrolling through tons of Rover profiles, we are so glad we found Rachel! We had a last minute need for a dog walker and she worked with us to fit us in to an already busy lunchtime walking schedule, which we really appreciated. Her profile write-up and responsiveness rate was what set her apart from other Rover walkers we looked at. She was very quick to respond to all messages and was always kind and professional! She was on time and provided a detailed report with great pictures of her walk with our dog, Sam. We felt totally comfortable with Rachel taking good care of Sam during their walk and will definitely be using her services again!”

“Randy is an incredible dog sitter. He is communicative, timely, thoughtful, and just all around an asset to the Rover community. He sends plenty of pictures and updates and is incredibly patient with our Golden Retriever puppy, Frankie. I can’t recommend Randy enough!”

“Brittani has been walking my dog Denim this past week, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Returning to the office has been a huge adjustment for both me and Denim since she struggles with separation anxiety, but Brittani has been so patient, kind, communicative, and reliable throughout the transition. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and that peace of mind means everything to me. Really grateful we found her, and Denim is too 🐾”

About: Growing up in a military family, I’ve always had dogs around, but my main companions were a black lab and a German shepherd. I really enjoy taking them for walks, playing with them, and just relaxing and enjoying company. I’ve been bartending and serving in the hospitality industry for the past nine years, but I’m currently taking a break to study. Mostly free during the week and weekends with enough time notice I will treat every dog like they were my own growing up. Dogs are like companions, and they should be cherished and remain man’s and women’s best friend
“Samantha was great with my pups, appreciated the communication after the walks and the photos shared of their walk. My pups are very shy, so appreciate her patience to let them warm up to her and spending time for pets and cuddles.”

“Peter has been so great with my dog Milo! He has a history of anxiety and is not always great with other dogs, but Peter has been so patient with him despite his quirks! I look forward to continue booking him for future care needs :)”
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. My family had dogs while I was growing up, and I’ve had cats of my own for over 20 years. I also regularly dog and cat sit for friends, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and all the funny little quirks that come with our pets. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for them while you’re away. As a stay-at-home mom and working artist, I have a very flexible daytime schedule and can easily accommodate walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I generally reserve evenings for family time, but I’m happy to be flexible when needed and will do my best to work with your pet’s regular routine and schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, routines, and any household rules. During drop-ins, I make sure doors and gates are secure and that pets are safe and settled before I leave. I’m respectful of each pet’s personality and boundaries, especially with cats who may need a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable with someone new. I’ll also keep you updated with photos so you know your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Hilary did a great job taking care of Mona while we were away. Communication was excellent, she was reliable, and it was clear Mona was comfortable and happy in her care. Mona is 17 and has a few extra needs, including medication, and Hilary handled everything perfectly. We came home to a happy dog and had complete peace of mind while we were gone. We’d absolutely book with her again.”

Brianna was great walking Cooper! He warmed up to her quickly and did all of his business! Would recommend and will continue to use Brianna when she is available! So grateful she was available at the last minute and was super helpful in coordinating a walk for Cooper!

Sonya was very patient and persistent when my dog didn't want to go on his walk. She knew it was important for him to go on a potty break and stayed until the job was done. I appreciate that she was very communicative and sent many pictures. She did a great job and I would recommend her to anyone!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
