About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, I provide more than just walks — I provide safe, loving, and attentive care tailored to every pup’s unique personality and needs. My background includes fostering dogs, working in a professional dog boarding facility, volunteering in animal shelters, and gaining experience in an animal hospital setting, which has given me the skills to confidently care for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. As a dedicated fur mom myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like family and focus on creating a comfortable, stress-free, and fun experience while you’re away. Whether your pup needs extra patience, structured care, medication support, playtime, or simply lots of love and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and cared for every step of the way. I pride myself on reliability, communication, and building genuine bonds with both pets and owners. Your dog’s well-being will always be my top priority. My schedule is structured to make sure every dog in my care gets the time, attention, exercise, and consistency they deserve. I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday from 4 PM–12 AM, so on those days I’m available for morning and noon visits, walks, drop-ins, feedings, potty breaks, and quality playtime before heading to work. Friday through Sunday, I have open availability and can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime care as needed. I always try to be flexible and communicate clearly with pet parents so I can provide the best care possible for each dog’s routine and individual needs. With my years of hands-on experience working with dogs in boarding facilities, shelters, fostering, and animal hospitals, I understand how important reliability, patience, and personalized care are for both pets and owners. When caring for pets in their homes, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, so I tailor my care to each pet’s specific needs, routine, and personality. Whether it’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication, cuddles, or giving extra patience to anxious pets, I make sure your fur baby receives the same love and attention they’re used to at home. During walks and pet sitting visits, I focus on safety, communication, and making sure your pet is happy, exercised, and well cared for every step of the way.

We loved Kalani soooooo much! Our dog, Maro, literally refused to switch to another walker after spending a few weeks with her while our regular walker was away, he adores her that much — we’re hoping he will reconsider now that she’s moving out of our area! She is amazing with dogs, super attentive and caring, and with pet parents she is perfectly professional, communicative, and reliable. 13/10 would recommend for any pet-related service!

About: I have a genuine love and care for different animals. When time permits itself, I do want to open up a nonprofit for animals who have been abandoned. I care for all animals not just dogs and cats 💕 I currently work on an intermittent schedule, which causes me to travel at the last minute. Sometimes I am gone from a few weeks to a few months, with little to no notice. I care for everyone’s animals as if they were my very own. From puppies/kittens to senior animals. If your animal is in need of medication and special treatment, I am definitely able and capable of administering medication CPR, etc. I look forward to meeting my new furry friends. 🐶 🐈‍⬛ 🐦 🐖 I currently can take care of other pets after I get off work and on the weekends, I do however take my dog out several times a day for potty breaks and walks and give her treats when she does a good job I make sure that I clean up after them if they have accidents and I also make sure that they are on a leash at all times and I will feed. I feed the animals on a twice a day schedule however whatever the client likes to do I will honor that.

About: I have been taking care off dogs since age five, when my family first got my childhood dog. Since then I have cared for two other dogs, providing basic training. Professionally, I have been watching dogs for 4 years, walking, feeding, and providing a fun experience to many dogs. I love dogs and would be so happy to care for yours! I currently work part time, mostly on the weekends. This means I would have around the clock time to assist during the week. For the weekends, I could board dogs if they are able to be apart for up to six hours, which typically would not happen. I have a large one bedroom apartment which will allow ample space to play with the dog inside. Regarding being outside, I love going on walks and can take them to the dog park, as well as using the yard outside my apartment.

About: Hi, I have had a lot of experience with my own pets, as I have had dogs all of my life, in addition to dog sitting that I have done on the side in previous years. I am such a pet lover and I am really looking forward to this experience, especially since I work 100% remote. Some things that distinguish me from other people is that I am open to learning, so new experiences and situations come easily to me. Secondly, I am extremely caring, especially when it comes to other people's animals, since I understand what its like to leave your pet in the care of somebody else. I am also easy to work with and have no issues communicating through any possible issues. Working 100% remote allows me the flexibility to integrate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I can take short breaks throughout the day to attend to my dog’s needs, whether it’s a quick walk, some playtime, or feeding. I also make time for longer walks in the morning and late afternoon, which gives both of us a refreshing break and helps my dog stay active. Being remote means I can adapt my schedule to ensure they get the care and attention they need without interrupting my work flow. In my home, I provide pets with a comfortable and spacious environment where they feel right at home. My 3-bedroom house offers plenty of room for pets to explore and relax, and I have a fenced-in backyard that allows for safe, supervised outdoor play. I prioritize creating a nurturing and engaging environment, ensuring pets have ample attention, playtime, and exercise. For walks, feeding, and any specific needs they may have, I tailor my routine to each pet’s preferences. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I keep their routines consistent, providing the same level of personalized care and attention to ensure they feel secure and happy in their familiar environment.

About: Recently married and paying off bills! If you have animal needs, I'm your girl! I've had cats and dogs my whole life. All kinds of breeds-mostly huge ones🤣 husky, chow, labs. I currently swap pet care with a neighbor, so I figured why not sign up for Rover! She said she used to do it, and she enjoyed Rover. It gives me a dopamine boost every time I get to see the fur babies. I'll treat them just as my own. I work from home, so with enough notice, I can make time to make runs out to care of your pets! I am in Temple Hills - very nearby is easiest. I usually immediately let out the dogs or walk the dogs. Then I feed them. While they are eating, I will do whatever needs to be done such as filling water bowls, cleaning up messes, etc. Then once they are done, I give lots of hugs or play depending on the doggie needs. Some dogs just want to sit under my feet and sleep while I'm at the counter or some dogs have all the energy in the world. Cats tend to just be cats 🤣 I had a cat that requires injections, so long as the dog or cat tolerates, I can do shots, oral or topical meds.

About: I worked at petsmart pets hotel for a couple of years after high school and I loved it. I love all dogs. I especially love boxers and Malteses. I've had several different pets over my lifetime but mainly cats. I currently have a beagle lab mix that keeps me on my toes I work overnight so my day schedule is completely open and I'm looking for a little more pet love to feel that space. Hopefully bringing along my girl won't be an issue as she goes with me just about everywhere. In my home, my girl is allowed to roam pretty freely as she is well house trained. She gets walked about 4, sometimes five times a day as she is a high energy dog. Whatever the pet parent requires of me in terms of caring for their pet is what I will implement in caring for their pet.

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my extensive experience and specialized skills in handling dogs of all ages and temperaments. I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior, which allows me to provide tailored care and training to meet the unique needs of each dog. I am well-versed in training puppies, focusing on foundational skills and positive reinforcement techniques to foster good behavior and a strong bond. For senior dogs, I offer compassionate care that includes managing age-related issues such as mobility challenges and medical needs, ensuring they remain comfortable and happy. In addition to training and age-specific care, I am committed to maintaining a structured routine that promotes a sense of security and well-being. My approach combines attentive supervision with engaging activities, making sure your dog receives both mental and physical stimulation. This personalized and holistic approach ensures that every dog in my care receives the attention and care they deserve. Getting to take care of animals simply is one of the most rewarding things around. Dogs are always so giving towards us, so I believe that it is my duty to give back to them whenever possible! Dogs have certainly done so much for my life and I simply want to make sure they have all the love and kindness they need to thrive. Getting to meet new dogs and help people out all at once is a dream come true for me! Although I’ll be the primary caregiver for your dog, my home is full of puppy love! I currently live with my significant other, and they are a huge dog lover! They’ve had dogs for their whole life and is always happy to bring a new pup into the mix. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Perhaps the best thing about me as a sitter is that I’m a full-time dog lover! I am home every day except for Thursday which means that your pup will have all the love and attention that they need. No one likes to keep their pooch cooped up in a kennel all day, so I make sure that they can roam free and clear as they please! As I’m home all day except for Thursday, I’m the perfect fit for dogs that are used to having their human around them during the day--or for ones that could benefit from that! If you can't afford my prices I can work with you on the price you can afford it's no problem. As a pet sitter, your routine might look something like this: - **Morning:** Arrive to feed the pets, take them for a walk, and handle any bathroom breaks. - **Midday:** Check in again for a short visit, playtime, or a quick walk, depending on the pet’s needs. - **Evening:** Return to feed the pets again, provide companionship, and handle any additional exercise or bathroom breaks. I care for parts in my home all my clients home by making sure they're safe to have the food and taking them for walks and playing with their toys with them everyday.

About: I’m a dedicated dog owner with hands-on experience caring for multiple fur babies with different needs, personalities, and sizes. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic care, and giving pets the patience and attention they need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I also have experience with dogs who deal with allergies, sensitive stomachs, and anxious behavior, so I understand how important it is to pay attention to routines and little changes in behavior. What sets me apart is that I truly treat fur babies like family. I know every pet has their own personality, comfort level, energy needs, and routine, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel secure. Whether your dog is playful and active, shy and nervous, or just wants cuddles and consistency, I aim to provide loving, dependable care and regular updates so you can feel at ease while they’re with me. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for dogs of my own and structure my day around feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m used to keeping up with routines, paying attention to behavior changes, and giving pets the time, patience, and affection they need. Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or boarding, I make sure each pet gets consistent care, attention, and a calm environment. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I make sure pets have a clean, secure, and calm environment where they can feel safe and relaxed. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, potty schedules, medications if needed, and any special routines or triggers your pet may have. In a client’s home, I respect your space and do my best to keep your pet on their normal routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I also believe in regular updates, clear communication, and treating every fur baby with the same love, patience, and care I would want for my own.

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
