About: I have been around a variety of animals my entire life! Currently we have a 2 year old Newfoundland. We love the big and fluffy dogs. Winston loves making new friends to play with. We have a large fenced in Yard (5 foot tall fence). I have raised huskies for 12 years, so I have experience with the energetic, hyper active dog breeds. I also have experience with many other animals as I have had them as pets previously (cats, lizards, ferrets, rats, hamsters, birds). I prefer to pet sit for only one family at a time. This is for your pets safety as well as my dogs. I was a vet tech for 12 years. I am comfortable giving medications (oral, injection, topical, eye drops). I have experience with young and older dogs. Typically first potty break is around 6am and bedtime around 9pm. During the day dogs can go outside every few hours as needed. I currently primarily telework 3 days a week, and go in person to the office 2 days a week. Dogs are welcome in the home office and will get let out throughout the day. When I have to go in person, dogs are kenneled. My in person days are typically 9 hour days. Dogs are fed twice a day and sepetate from one another. Food bowls are not left out during the day. There is always access to fresh water. Dogs sleep in the bedroom with us at night. The back yard is fully fenced in (15 steps down). I also have a ti-out in the front yard for senior dogs who are not good with stairs. The kitchen and living room area are baby gated off. Gates are only shut when needed. Otherwise dogs have full access to 1st and 2nd floor. Winston is very friendly and loves them company of other dogs (playing or lounging togeher).

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was about 10 years old ! I have always been the kind of person who takes in a stray cat or dog or at least feed them. Anytime anyone needs a pet sitter they call me and I gladly provide the services needed ! I currently own two cats who have been raised around dogs due to me being a temporary foster home for pets ! Pet care fits into my daily routine, since I work from home, I’m able to take care of the dog during the day and night. I typically wake up pretty early and keep a regimented schedule throughout the day. I make sure the dog is walked. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. Some dogs don’t like all of that so you really have to pay attention to what type of dog you’re getting. Luckily I love all dogs so it’s all fun for me.

When dropping Boomer off, we immediately felt comfortable with Sonja. About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have a large, fenced-in yard for my 2-year old Black Russian Terrier male dog (the sweetest thing) to romp around, and I have a dog door that freely opens to the yard so your pet can go outside whenever they want. I also have chickens in the backyard, but they are secured in their run, so they are just eye candy for the doggies. Since I work from home, I am always at my house, and my office window looks over the yard, so there is always a watchful eye over the pets. The fence surrounding my house is always locked so there is total security, and of course if your pet wants to cool off or warm up--they have full access to the house with soft beds to lay in.

About: Hi! I'm Krista and I genuinely love spending time with dogs and have lots of experience taking care of them. I recently said goodbye to my sweet and quirky 12‑year‑old German Shepherd. Caring for her throughout the years has given me experience with all the different stages from energetic pups to the oldies with mobility challenges and slower routines. My shepherd struggled with anxiety around other dogs, so I’m very familiar with reading body language, creating safe distance, and keeping walks calm and controlled. Throughout the years, I have cared for and spent ample time with doggos belonging to friends and family members and look forward to the opportunity to give others peace of mind when they need to leave their loved ones. Lots of walks, pets, play time and of course, photos/videos for owners! I work from home so there are lots of opportunities to go outside. There are a few parks nearby and lots of grassy areas. I also have dog beds, dishes and plenty of toys! Please note, my building unfortunately has restrictions on the following dog breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Malamute, Pit Bull Breeds, Presa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Wolf Dogs. I live in a condo building but there's lots of areas outside to venture around! I do own a crate if needed/preferred. I will bring your dog on many walks and ensure they have lots of play time (for the youngins) and rest (for the oldies) :)

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients.
