About: I have cared for pets with my family since I was a baby, and I have been volunteering with animal rescues since the age of 14! (to care for and clean up after cats/dogs.) I also own 14 fish tanks, and 2 beautiful kitties. All very well loved animals. I am a college student majoring in environmental science and marine and estuarine sciences. I am working through rover to help fund my college. I only have classes about 3 days a week, and mainly attend classes later in the afternoon, so I can easily tend to pets before class early in the morning, around lunch time, and after class around dinner time. Contact me and we can work something out:) I am an experienced pet owner, and I am happy to provide all the basics like, cleaning cages/litter boxes, food/water bowls, refreshing water and feeding, taking on walks, and playing with the your pet, and of COURSE providing lots of love and attention😸!
About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
“Sweta has been amazing with our old man. Takes him on nice long walks and makes sure he’s okay while at work. I feel at ease when she’s coming to take care of him.”

“I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. You could not be in better hands than with Jackie and I have trust issues lol. She is the VERY BEST <3”

“David was our Rock Star this week. At 7am Monday morning all seemed like it was going to be a great week. Then it was 7:01am and it turned into a roller coaster week. Obviously David likes roller casters because he was responsive to our cries for help! Big time thanks again! We super appreciate you're ability and flexibility to help support our insane schedules!”

About: Neighbors and friends/family have trusted me with their fur-family members and I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. I am currently a full time college student, however, I have many breaks and a flexible schedule that would be perfectly occupied by caring for your furry friend! I will always follow provided directions carefully and closely in regards to your fur-family member and will contact you beforehand if I have any questions/concerns. All in all, I treat every animal I come across as my very own because I know that’s how I would want my own doggo to be treated <3

“Sofia is the best! Our pup loves her! She is flexible with scheduling and is super friendly! 10000/10 care provided for Knox! We have already rebooked with her and cannot recommend her enough!! 🙃🐾 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Tiana is amazing!!! We booked her over our vacation and she got there everyday on time and took lots of pics of Archie. So sweet and kind! Will definitely book her again soon!! Your pet is in safe hands with her”

“There's something about her - my dog just instantly loved her. He loves everyone, but with Leah it was more of a calm "oh yeah" than his normal manic excitement over guests. She's a gem. She is communicative and reliable, putting my mind at ease.”

“Alyssa is wonderful and very thoughtful! She was very loving and patient with Ivy. We can’t wait to use Alyssa again. Ivy really likes Alyssa and looks forward to seeing her. Thank you for a great job every day.”

“Claudia has been amazing with our pups—they love her! We really appreciated the connection she made with them and the time she spent to give them some affection and play beyond just the basic walk. We enforce 1,000%, and would absolutely use her again when needed!!”

“Zach has been great with our two pups. Our dogs look forward to their walks with Zach. He always makes sure to communicate with us and we recommend booking with him!”

About: My older brother used to breed South African Mastiff’s and train different breeds. I’ve been blessed to learn the difference between dog breeds, how they communicate to each other and their owners, and understand what needs their personalities require. I also help my sister with her husky and they are a bit much lol, so that’s a bonus in experience! It is my goal to deliver attentive and dependable care to every paw! My schedule as of right now is quite flexible since i’m working part time as an Esthetician. I decided to join rover to bring more fulfillment into my weekly routines. I have a big field next to a playground in my townhouse complex where the neighborhood dogs hang out. I also have fenced back yard & covered outdoor patio if being around other dogs aren’t an option. I like to keep anything at reach away from pets , while giving them space to roam freely, unless requested otherwise. As for cats I like to keep a closer eye on because they are quite curious so while giving them their space, I like to check in on them often.

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have always enjoyed being around them. I grew up with a dog and have had the joy of caring for pets from a young age. I currently have two pugs of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family members. I have plenty of experience with dog walking and providing dogs with attention, exercise, and companionship. Whether your pup needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home during the week, which gives me flexibility and allows me to be available during the day for walks, drop-in visits, and providing pets with attention and companionship. I’m also free on weekends and enjoy spending my extra time caring for dogs. I have two pugs of my own, so I’m already used to the daily responsibilities of feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel loved and comfortable. I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In my own home, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and a calm environment for pets to relax. As a two-pug owner, I understand the importance of patience, companionship, and keeping pets happy and comfortable. In a client’s home, I will follow their instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, exercise routines, and any special preferences their pet may have. My goal is to make pets feel cared for and give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands.

Janna was AMAZING with Buddy. We were in a real pinch and needed a dog walker on super short notice. She jumped in, was able to do a meet-and-greet same day, and I felt so relieved to be able to leave my pupper with someone I could trust. I will definitely be reaching out to Janna any time I need a dog walker. She was awesome!

Angela was amazing with our doggos. She was very thorough in her reports and provided lots of pictures. We especially appreciated how patient she was with our older doggo and made sure she ate her food as she takes a while - definitely will be rebooking again and recommending to our family and friends!

Leah has been an absolutely amazing dog walker for our pup!! I was so impressed with her professionalism from the start and she has been so consistent and thorough in providing the best care for our dog. She is a great communicator and you can tell she really cares about taking care of animals. She has put my mind at ease on a daily basis knowing my pup is receiving the best treatment and attention. I could not recommend Leah enough!

I love Veronica!!!! I have an upcoming extended trip at the end of the month. I have talked with Veronica about the trip and shared that I always feel very anxious whenever I have to leave Crosby for an extended period time. Veronica has been SO calm, patient, understanding and flexible. She has done everything possible to put my mind and my nerves at ease. Today, Veronica went above and beyond on her visit and walk with Crosby. I’m so relieved and grateful to have connected with Veronica !! She’s AMAZING!!!! ❤️❤️ Thank you, Veronica!!!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
