About: I have cared for pets with my family since I was a baby, and I have been volunteering with animal rescues since the age of 14! (to care for and clean up after cats/dogs.) I also own 14 fish tanks, and 2 beautiful kitties. All very well loved animals. I am a college student majoring in environmental science and marine and estuarine sciences. I am working through rover to help fund my college. I only have classes about 3 days a week, and mainly attend classes later in the afternoon, so I can easily tend to pets before class early in the morning, around lunch time, and after class around dinner time. Contact me and we can work something out:) I am an experienced pet owner, and I am happy to provide all the basics like, cleaning cages/litter boxes, food/water bowls, refreshing water and feeding, taking on walks, and playing with the your pet, and of COURSE providing lots of love and attention😸!

About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

“I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. You could not be in better hands than with Jackie and I have trust issues lol. She is the VERY BEST <3”

I provide attentive, personalized care which is shaped by more than 12 years of being a dog owner. I typically work from home (during the week), so I am available to provide many potty breaks and to give them attention that they want/need. On the weekends, I typically at home - so your fur baby will receive a lot of attention and care. Hope to hear from you! I live in a single-family home with a yard in a dog-friendly community with walking trails and grassy areas. Your fur baby will feel right at home! Your fur baby's typical day will be a long walk in the morning, 2-3 afternoon walks and a long walk in the evening. I love being outdoors so if that is what your fur baby enjoys, we will definitely have outdoor time!

I’m super patient, especially with senior dogs who need a slower pace, and I’m always happy to send you photo updates so you don’t have to worry while you’re away Im free mostly everyday and all day for the summer and very flexible with your schedule. About: Neighbors and friends/family have trusted me with their fur-family members and I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. I am currently a full time college student, however, I have many breaks and a flexible schedule that would be perfectly occupied by caring for your furry friend! I will always follow provided directions carefully and closely in regards to your fur-family member and will contact you beforehand if I have any questions/concerns. All in all, I treat every animal I come across as my very own because I know that’s how I would want my own doggo to be treated <3

About: My older brother used to breed South African Mastiff’s and train different breeds. I’ve been blessed to learn the difference between dog breeds, how they communicate to each other and their owners, and understand what needs their personalities require. I also help my sister with her husky and they are a bit much lol, so that’s a bonus in experience! It is my goal to deliver attentive and dependable care to every paw! My schedule as of right now is quite flexible since i’m working part time as an Esthetician. I decided to join rover to bring more fulfillment into my weekly routines. I have a big field next to a playground in my townhouse complex where the neighborhood dogs hang out. I also have fenced back yard & covered outdoor patio if being around other dogs aren’t an option. I like to keep anything at reach away from pets , while giving them space to roam freely, unless requested otherwise. As for cats I like to keep a closer eye on because they are quite curious so while giving them their space, I like to check in on them often.
