About: I grew up in a home with dogs. And most recently, had a fur baby of our own for 12 years. I work from home so that I will be able to give your fur baby the attention they need and deserve. I provide attentive, personalized care which is shaped by more than 12 years of being a dog owner. I typically work from home (during the week), so I am available to provide many potty breaks and to give them attention that they want/need. On the weekends, I typically at home - so your fur baby will receive a lot of attention and care. Hope to hear from you! I live in a single-family home with a yard in a dog-friendly community with walking trails and grassy areas. Your fur baby will feel right at home! Your fur baby's typical day will be a long walk in the morning, 2-3 afternoon walks and a long walk in the evening. I love being outdoors so if that is what your fur baby enjoys, we will definitely have outdoor time!

About: I have almost 30 years of experience taking care of pets, from mostly dogs, to gerbils, to fish, to rabbits, and even cats. It all started by taking care of my aunt and uncle's dog and cat while they were away. I also helped my cousins with their rabbits when we were younger. Over the years, my family had many goldfish (won from fairs or carnivals), two gerbils, and a black lab who lived almost 14 years. In college, one of my roommates got a rabbit that we all worked together to take care of as well. Now, I mainly help family and friends with their pets while they're away, but I would love to branch out. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them in the backyard (or inside a house if it's allowed). I'm looking to try this out as a side gig and possibly turn it into more, so I am dedicated to find time that meets your schedule. Since I live in an apartment, I am unable to take care of any pets (not already listed on my lease) in my home. However, I am willing to come to your house and will make sure to lock any doors used and make sure everything is cleaned up as much as possible before leaving.

About: For over 24 years, our dogs have been more than pets — they’ve been family. We’ve cared for two beloved dogs, including one with special needs and epilepsy, which gave us firsthand experience administering daily medication and responding calmly during emergency situations. We understand the patience, attention, and love that special-needs pets require because we’ve lived it ourselves. We know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your animal, and that’s why we care for every dog as if they were our own — with compassion, safety, and the same love we gave our own family pets. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because my husband works remotely and is home throughout the day. During the summer, our teenage son is also home and enjoys helping with walks, playtime, and attention. With someone almost always home, dogs receive consistent care, companionship, and plenty of love. We care for pets like they are part of the family. In our home, pets receive plenty of attention, supervised playtime, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding on their normal schedule, and a safe, comfortable environment. We also have experience administering daily medications and caring for special-needs pets. In a client’s home, we follow their pet’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while their owners are away.

About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

“We are extremely pleased and worry free with David in charge of our 3 fur babies. He received immediate approval from the leader of the pack, during the Meet & Greet. The youngest is a socialite so his opinion didn't quite count. Then there is the cautious one, after a test walk he sauntered over to get a scratch behind the ears. With David providing the mid-afternoon walk, everyone sleeps great at night. He exhausts their energy. David has been an awesome addition to supporting the boys with our crazy work schedules. One of us is able to telework with some office hours during the week. However the office hours can fluctuate, all we have to do is reach out to David and ask him to add a walk. If you read reviews, like I do, I am willing to vouch for his compassion for his job, our furry family members and his integrity!”

“I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. About: I grew up on a farm in Iowa, taking care of many different kinds of animals, including dogs. My animal care experience is long and diverse. I love all dogs and love spending time with them. I had three very different dogs for many years. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies, three legged dogs and hyper active dogs, and dogs in active training. I have been able to accommodate any and all needs requested. I am looking forward to meeting your pup and taking care of them! I currently do not own any pets so I can work around your pet‘s schedule easily. I work part time as a private violin/fiddle teacher and have great flexibility with my hours. If I am taking care of your pup then you can be assured that I will prioritize their care and schedule. Without any pets or children in my home, I can sit just about any dog. There is space for a crate if needed. The environment is safe and calm. Although I don’t have a yard, there is ample green space for long walks with lots of things to sniff. I will care for your dog as if they were my own, keeping them safe and happy.

About: Neighbors and friends/family have trusted me with their fur-family members and I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also aided my own doggo through a seizure and helped transport him to the ER. I am currently a full time college student, however, I have many breaks and a flexible schedule that would be perfectly occupied by caring for your furry friend! I will always follow provided directions carefully and closely in regards to your fur-family member and will contact you beforehand if I have any questions/concerns. All in all, I treat every animal I come across as my very own because I know that’s how I would want my own doggo to be treated <3
