About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

About: Fairly new to Rover but not to dog sitting!!! Previous Yorkie and Rottweiler owner. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Looking for new families to support and doggies to play with! I work fully remote from home, which means I am the perfect victim for someone's fur baby who needs constant attention and cuddles!! This ensures that when I am booked for a walk, I have zero outside distractions and can dedicate my full attention to your dog's exercise and safety. Since I only offer dog walking services, I focus entirely on providing exceptional care at the client's home. Before entering, I carefully review the owner's entry instructions to ensure the home remains secure. Once inside, I greet the dog calmly, properly secure their collar or harness, and double-check that the leash is safely attached. After our walk, I ensure the dog has fresh water, wipe their paws if needed, and securely lock the client's door exactly as requested. I always send a detailed Rover card update with photos before leaving.

About: I’ve worked with other dogs before and genuinely enjoy making them happy. I also love observing how well I get along with them and forming connections with them. It fits perfectly because I work with dogs every day, and I love coming back to hang out with them every chance I get. I love making connections. I ensure that they have access to certain things and refrain from feeding them anything that could make them ill. Additionally, I provide them with information about the activities they can engage in to prevent them from falling sick.
