About: We are an active, young family and we are dog lovers! Our dogs are very friendly with tons of energy, so yours will benefit from plenty of exercise and attention. We have a fenced in yard but we also enjoy daily walks around the neighborhood. We understand the importance of making sure your pup is both happy and healthy. In our home, your dog can roam freely from room to room and spend time in a family environment where they will be treated just like one of our own! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me! We are happy to provide any additional photos and videos during visits to show that your dog is well cared for and happy! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and dependable care I provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, fresh water, cleanup, and plenty of attention and affection.

About: Greeings! I am a full time pet sitter who also stays home full time as well. Your pup is welcome to make my home, their home, while you are away! I have a 3 level townhome with a fenced in yard, plus an upper deck area the pups love. I love having company so please feel free to reach out! I am home full time and have 7 day availability for your pup(s). I can also accept more than one dog, as long as they are from the same family. My dog passed some time ago so I do not have any pets at the moment. I have a 3 level townhome, dogs are free to roam the house or can be sectioned off for puppies. Dogs are allowed on any furniture you allow at home.

About: I used to have two small dogs for 7 years and have been trusted by neighbors and friends to watch their dogs as well. I have experience watching dogs both big and small! I have also had the opportunity to walk a medium sized dog three times a day multiple times and have boarded both a large and small dog simultaneously. I’m currently a student on summer break and have worked with dogs! My schedule is pretty flexible, especially if details are known ahead of time. I also have a car of my own that I do not mind having pets in. I will follow instructions clearly and make sure your pets get lots of love. I will not let them do anything they wouldn’t normally do, such as jumping on counters (cats) or furniture unless they are allowed otherwise.

About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule. I can stay and keep your pets company all day (as long as my Rover schedule allows, feel free to ask me!) or visit multiple times throughout the day before staying overnight. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

About: I decided to start working full time again, but have built a great client base over the past year. I have truly enjoyed every dog I have watched. I purely do it because I love the dogs and so does the rest of my family! So if you need a weekend sitter or are okay with me being out of the house during the week, please contact me! I have been pet sitting on Rover since July 2021. I have 11+years experience as a dog owner as an adult. I had a family dog growing up as well. I have also watched friends dogs in my home. I previously volunteered at the fairfax county animal shelter to walk dogs and play with them. Starting 12 September I will be working full time out of the home for about 9 hrs. If your dog can be alone for that long, than I would love to watch your pet. I am also available weekends. I have a small fenced in yard that is paved. However, the neighborhood has green areas and sidewalks to take the dogs on walks. I’m an active person so I can take your dog on walks as often as you request. My two kids love animals, but I am strict about how they play with them and I will not leave them unattended with your pet. Your pet will have free range of the home or if you prefer they can be crated if I have to leave the house.

I started in elementary school by offering to walk my neighbors' dogs just so I could have the opportunity to play with them. Over the years, I have gained even more love and experience in properly caring for all animals as if they were my own. I am a student at JMU who is looking for something part time.
