About: I have been a high school teacher for 26 years. I dog-sit for my friends and sister all the time, and even for my friend's cat sometimes too! I also used to dog-sit for my parents' dog for 2-3 months while they were away over the winters, but unfortunately Mollie passed away a few years ago. She was 17 and we spoiled her! I grew up with dogs (poodles) and I love animals so I thought this would be a fun way to earn extra money! I really enjoy dog sitting, and have been doing this for about 9 years now and I look forward to meeting your pup! I work full time and am away from my home from 7:15-3:30 during the week. Weekends I am either home or in and out throughout the day, but have plenty of time in the evenings or on the weekends to go for long walks with the dog or even a hike if they are up for it! About: I've had a pet most of my life. Missy was my first cat but I've had 5 since her. Cats typically love me even the shy ones. Max was my first dog but I've lived with or owned 5. I even owned a hamster named Ralphie when I was a young adult. Recently, my family lost our 14 year old Yorkie Duncan. We now open our home to boarding and daycare we and a CA wood turtle. I walk, love on, feed, and have bathed all my pets. After owning a service based business for over a decade I closed it in 2023 to pursue other businesses with more flexibility and less stress. I work and volunteer outside the home about 5-6 days a week but have a lot of flexibility. I work from home two days out of the week and I'm available on weekends for doggy daycare where they'll play in the backyard, get walks, I'll make sure they eat, and get enough water. For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
“I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. You could not be in better hands than with Jackie and I have trust issues lol. She is the VERY BEST <3”

About: My older brother used to breed South African Mastiff’s and train different breeds. Winnie can be a little difficult on walks sometimes because she is a bit dog reactive and Francise did a great job managing her!
