I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

“This was the second time we left Bailey with Heather and he practically ripped my arm off racing from the car to her front door, which is exactly what we wanted. It is important to us that Bailey is excited to visit and feels comfortable when we're away and Heather provides that and more. Heather boarded more than Bailey this particular weekend and she took such great care to make sure he didn't get too worn out playing and had time away from the other pups to rest. We just love the care she provides!”
