“Marcela is the best sitter. My little Havapoo just loves her. I was nervous to leave my puppy with anyone when I traveled out of town for work. My pup instantly took to Marcela and I know she enjoys playing with the other small dogs that Marcela boards from time to time too. She used to be so shy but overtime boarding with Marcela helped socialize her to other dogs. Now she’s way more confident and comfortable. About: Grew up caring for rescue dogs with my family. Currently have a rescue that I've had for 2 years as well as help care for 2 puppies. I currently work full-time, early morning to early afternoon. So I would be able to check in on pets or give some play/walk time in the afternoons/early evenings as well as all weekend In my own home my pets go on walks to relieve themselves due to living in an apartment. About: In addition to being an approved foster home for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and one very cute hamster throughout my 48 years. After both of my senior rescue pups passed away from old age during Covid, I've really missed having a furry companion running around. I'm not quite ready to have my own pet full-time again but enjoy caring for others' furry friends between foster pups. Open to full day, evenings, or weekends. Seniors have a special place in my heart and are always welcome. I am very experienced with those that have special needs or medicines. I do ask that all pets are kid friendly as I have a 10 year old "trainer" that comes with me and really enjoys reading to the pups at bedtime. Though my son will keep his distance from dogs that are skittish, we want a safe and calm place for both the pet and child to stay when they're in our home. For stays in our home, especially those last minute needs, we have beds, crates, bowls, toys, and even various types of emergency food just in case. We're who you need in a pinch or if your flight is delayed on the way home. Boarding in our home always comes with multiple walks a day and often a fun adventure and patio time! Working from home makes flexible pick up and drop off scheduling a breeze for pups staying with me! I look forward to making your pet part of our family while you're away. Be sure to let me know if they'd enjoy the park and long walks or prefer a more laid back stay with extra cuddles or space to decompress and we'll adjust. We sit for many families in our neighborhood and several prior dogs have walked with us to and from school (Hi Georgie!)... while others have napped most of the day away. (Hi Duke, Lana, and Mimi, I'm looking at you!) Need me to pick up to make it easier to head out of town? Or deliver once you're home? I gotcha! I have a small fenced in yard and lots of open green space out back to keep your pup busy! Does your pet prefer a walk around the neighborhood? We'll show them around around and where the best town "gossip" is located. Our "fur-iends" who visit love to check their "pee-mails" and we know all the great spots. Have a well behaved pooch? Your pet will always have free range of my home, if they're most comfortable contained near their humans I can close off doors and block off stairs! We even have extra floor coverings for those a little older that appreciate extra traction when walking. Does the pup like crates better at night, just let me know and I'll follow your routine! We have a couple med/lg sized ones here I keep on hand, in case they're needed. I usually keep the doors off so they can use it as a safe place whenever they'd like unless mom or dad prefers otherwise! Safety is incredibly important to us so all animals will stay leashed outside and I have a 2 pet limit set on Rover so things stay calm and we have plenty of scratchies & snuggle time with the dogs who like to hang out with humans. Have a senior pup who wants to hide somewhere quiet? There's plenty of great hiding spots and we'll tote a bed over to their new favorite spot to keep them comfy.

About: I have started taking care of neighbors and family friends pets ever since I was 11 years old. I have experience pet sitting cats and dogs. The clients I would pet sit for have relied on me to feed, walk, bathe, and provide medicine to their pets. I am currently working from home from 8:30-5:30 on weekdays, but I am usually available in the mornings before 8:30 am and in the evenings after 5:30 pm. My weekends are very flexible. “I don't even know where to begin, but Jackie has been such an absolute BLESSING during a very tumultuous time where I have not been able to walk my dog, Sadie, due to having leg surgery and needing someone short notice. Never would I have thought that I would find my dog's godmother, but HERE WE ARE! Jackie is incredible with Sadie and Sadie is IN LOVE with Jackie. I used to work in vets myself and can feel Jackie's empathetic and beautiful nature when it comes to pets, and even my little demon hobbit cat loves her too and he is hard to please. Jackie is also aware of any inconsistencies with Sadie's behavior, potty breaks and has even checked for ticks as the spring gets nuts with those terrible creatures. We are going to be so sad that she won't be coming 3 times a day anymore, but Jackie has become an actual friend and Sadie and I plan to have visits. There is no way Sadie cannot be in Jackie's life and Jackie has expressed the same. We seriously love her so much and will still book with her when needed in the future. You could not be in better hands than with Jackie and I have trust issues lol. She is the VERY BEST <3”

About: I have 11 years of experience in pet sitting. Dogs are welcome in my home to be themselves, play, and get spoiled. I will send daily pictures and updates about your fur baby so that you have the peace of mind about your baby. I do not believe in keeping dogs outside. Well behaved K9s can stay comfortably in the house and rest on the furniture. I only use kennels for bed time, but it is not mandatory if your pet is not accustomed to it and is house trained. I welcome fur babies staying the night when parents need to go out of town or just need them to be out of the house for house work. I am flexible and can work with what you need as a parent of a precious K9.
