It is important for me to know the size of the dog and the dog's energy level before I agree to drop in. I know my own limits and I would never agree to care for an animal I do not fully believe myself capable of handling. Dogs over 30lbs with a lot of energy or a tendency to charge on a leash are not a good match for me. Small dogs with tons of energy and a need to play on the other hand are great! Please also let me know about your cat/dog's favorite toys, their exact feeding schedule with amounts, their medical history and anything related to it that I would need to watch out for, and if anyone else will be around to care for your animal throughout the day.

For cats: I will follow your instructions on caring for your cat. It's important to me that your cat feels safe around me and comfortable while you are away. I love all cats! confident, shy, independent, attention-loving, playful, you name it. I will work with their personality to ensure that they are not stressed out by a stranger showing up. I also scoop litter boxes on every visit. Please be sure to leave bags or let me know to bring my own. For dogs: I love going for walks around local parks. I stay on the trail to avoid disruptions to local wildlife and tick risks. Stella loves to play with the hose and will happily chase the stream from it for hours. During hot weather, I prefer to play with dogs indoors to avoid walking them on hot pavement. Because my schedule only allows for drop ins at the moment, I am primarily looking to work with cats.
