About: I worked for a small business a while ago where I would travel to peoples houses in order to take there dogs on a walk. I would also make sure to feed them, play with them, or just keep them company if needed. After that job, I worked as a kennel attendant at a boarding facility. There I managed many peoples dogs and make sure they were properly taken care of. This included play times, bathroom breaks, feeding, and even special treats now and then. I am looking for anyone who needs the help. I am currently job searching and wanted to go back into the dog business and figured this would be a great way to get back into it! Usually I will take my dog on longer walks and give him extra attention and play time at home. My dog is spoiled and happy!

“Grace was wonderful! She took excellent and thorough care of our cats and went above and beyond her responsibilities to make our cats comfortable and happy! Great communication too! Will definitely be rebooking Grace for future trips.”

“Hannah was a fantastic cat sitter! This is my first time using a professional service for my kitties, and I was blown away by her thoroughness and fantastic communication. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely ask for her services in the future if needed. Just a fantastic person through and through!”

“Daniella did great with checking in on our dogs! They seemed to enjoy their walks with her and didn't have any issues. She left good notes about her visits and was easy to communicate with. We needed additional care for the week and she was willing and able to continue helping out, which was greatly appreciated! I would highly recommend Daniella and rebook her.”

“Katrina was fantastic. She was very caring and patient with my dog. She was also very communicative and always let me know what was going on. Katrina is a compassionate and responsible Rover, I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Olivia did an amazing job taking care of my cats! I left very detailed instructions and she followed everything carefully and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure my cats were comfortable and well cared for. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Gabriela saved us in a pinch, she was always on time rocko looked happy when we returned, he would look stressed normally after being boarded. Definitely will call her again.”

“Veronica was great with our dog Ares. She responded quickly to all messages and sent me pictures with each visit. She was very accommodating with my last minute changes I had to make to the drop-in schedule and is very personable.”

“Taylor has been our sitter for a while and she I trustworthy, cares for our pets like they are her own and always give her all while caring for our pets even when we had a tiny emergency. I highly recommend her services to anyone!”

About: I started out petsitting and doing walks at a doggy daycare center in Falls Church. Within a few months I was promoted to the center manager. We offered not only petsitting, walks and daycare, but boarding, grooming and pickup/drop off services. I worked there for three years in my young adult years. It was a very rewarding and fun part of my life, and every furry friend was a unique character I will never forget! I also have a ton of natural energy, and love to get some exercise on walks. I am currently flexible all day during the week. I have recently left the corporate world and I am in the process of building my professional organizing business to step away from the corporate rat race. I’m full of gratitude that I get the chance to care for furry children with my extra time! I have experience in the client’s home of crating pets, I am detail oriented and thorough, and ensure my care is loving and considerate of your home and furry family member.
“Wyatt took such amazing care of my sweet cat during the snow storm weekend. Very responsive and proactive even with snow in the forecast! Felt so rejected to know someone so caring was taking care of my fur baby!”

About: I have cared for all different breeds and sizes of dogs over the years. I grew up with large and small dogs and have pet sit for coworkers with large dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. I recently lost my soul dog to hemangiosarcoma and want to make a difference for other dogs and provide the care they need. I just do not have it in my heart to remove her from my profile just yet. My girl had special needs such as leash/barrier reactivity, aggression, and a bite history prior to adopting her. I am comfortable working with dogs with those needs as well. She had taken several medications over the years and I am comfortable giving pet meds. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday, I am usually available on weekends. I would also be willing to board dogs during the days that I work as I don’t work too far from home. I have a fenced back yard to play in and an XXL crate or a dog bed for dogs who require those sleeping arrangements. I am a dogs on furniture household for those who like to sleep on the couch.

About: Im available all the time and have a lot of time with my own dog and I have a cat too. I’ve taken care of a senior dog I adopted and trained my current dog pretty well. My day is open. The only thing that’s ever on my calendar is getting my daughters to school. Other than that, I’m usually home. I have a fenced yard and my dog is really friendly. The yard is on the smaller side but still has plenty of places to run around.

About: My lifelong love for animals began growing up visiting farms, which taught me to be patient, gentle, and attentive to animal’s needs. I worked at an animal hospital for over a year, assisting veterinarians with administering medications to dogs and cats. I also handled the boarding and daily care of dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and geckos. I was trained to properly feed, monitor, bathe, and exercise over 100 pets per day. This hands-on medical and boarding experience allows me to provide a higher level of care, safety. I adore senior doggies and cats and the puppies and kittens are the funniest! I maintain a consistent weekly schedule that allows me to provide reliable and attentive pet care. I am available in the evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays after 7 PM, have midday and evening availability on Tuesdays, and can provide care in the mornings and evenings on Thursdays and Fridays. I am fully available on weekends, which allows for extended care, drop-ins, and flexible scheduling. When I care for pets in a client’s home, my main focus is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience working in an animal hospital taught me how to carefully follow routines, notice small changes in behavior, and handle pets gently in their own space. I treat every home with respect and stick to each pet’s usual schedule and owners requests, whether that’s feeding, medications, litter care, or walks. I’m trained to give medications and I always take my time to make sure everything is done correctly and calmly. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, so I make sure to send updates, photos, and notes after visits. My goal is to keep pets relaxed and happy while giving pet parents peace of mind, knowing their furry family member is in caring hands.
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for over 15 years. Animal breeds ranging from Labradors, boxers and mix breeds. I currently have a rescue dog, and a kitty from birth. I am currently working full time and available almost every weekend. I'd be available to care for your animals after 3:30pm daily and anytime on the weekend. I have a bark park just around the corner and a happy jolly dog that would love to keep your fur baby company. I have a nice large crate, should your dog need to be crated for any reason.
About: I always had dogs and cats growing up since I was 6. I've taken care of dogs (walking, feeding, bathing, and boarding) for my friends, neighbors and family for at least 6 years mostly for medium and small dogs when they are away/out of town. My husband and I work full time from home so my schedule is flexible to provide any services such as drop-in, walks, day care and boarding either on daily basis or on your special occasions. We have a dog (medium size) at home and we would like to ensure that we give lots of affection and playtime to your fur babies. We live in a townhouse surrounding by many traits and dog parks. My husband and I will give your fur babies lots of affection and playtime, we’ll do our best to make them feel at home! Our guest pups usually sleep alongside with our own dog in their individual beds, either in the basement or living room areas. Also, when providing drop-in visits, or dog walking services, I will not only be taking care of your dogs, but I will also take care of your home by taking a little extra time before I leave to ensure everything’s secure, and the dog has what they need before you come back.
“Hieu and Anna have become our favorite walkers for Azula and Obi. They have taken such good care of our high energy dogs and are wonderful with communication while I am out of town. Our doggies look forward to the next time!”

Taylor did an exceptional job taking care of my cats. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. Taylor was attentive, reliable, and treated my cats with so much love and care. I truly appreciated the updates and peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets.

Miss Hannah is absolutely a pleasure to work with we could not recommend her more. Her care for our boys has been absolutely wonderful. She always truly cared for them. Whether it was their litter box is being full or make sure that they are comfortable and make sure they also had tons of love and playtime again we could not recommend her thank you so much Hannah🥹🙏🌷🌞😺😺✨🏡

Kerry took such great care of our little girl while we were away. She’s very patient with shy kitties, but was able to work her magic and get our girl out. I appreciate her communication and willingness to help bring in packages. Kerry really went above and beyond to help us out when a large delivery arrived ahead of schedule. We will absolutely book Kerry again!

Brigette is awesome. She’s helped us out with our near senior, somewhat particular spaniel and way too energetic kitten a couple of times now. We come back and they’re tired (in a good way) and happy. We trust her in our home and with our critters. Will definitely use Brigette going forward.

I booked rather last minute and thrilled that Mateo was able to accommodate m and my little beasties. He was incredibly communicative and checked in regularly. I felt so good knowing the beasties were in good hands. Will definitely try to work with him again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best cat sitter I could have asked for! I’m very particular about my cats’ care, and I left detailed written instructions along with videos. She followed everything exactly, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even brushed my long-haired cats, which I really appreciated and wasn’t something I expected. When I got home, they were happy, well cared for, and the whole experience was completely stress-free. It was obvious they had been looked after with genuine care and attention to detail. I would absolutely trust her with my cats again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive pet sitter!

Emily did a wonderful job dropping in to visit our 2 cats while we were away for a long weekend. She is very responsive and sent detailed updates and photos for each day so I felt assured they were being taken care great care of. Would love to use her again for future trips!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
