About: I have cared for all different breeds and sizes of dogs over the years. I grew up with large and small dogs and have pet sit for coworkers with large dogs, cats, bunnies, etc. I recently lost my soul dog to hemangiosarcoma and want to make a difference for other dogs and provide the care they need. I just do not have it in my heart to remove her from my profile just yet. My girl had special needs such as leash/barrier reactivity, aggression, and a bite history prior to adopting her. I am comfortable working with dogs with those needs as well. She had taken several medications over the years and I am comfortable giving pet meds. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday, I am usually available on weekends. I would also be willing to board dogs during the days that I work as I don’t work too far from home. About: In addition to being an approved foster home for Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and one very cute hamster throughout my 48 years. After both of my senior rescue pups passed away from old age during Covid, I've really missed having a furry companion running around. I'm not quite ready to have my own pet full-time again but enjoy caring for others' furry friends between foster pups. Open to full day, evenings, or weekends. We have a couple med/lg sized ones here I keep on hand, in case they're needed. I usually keep the doors off so they can use it as a safe place whenever they'd like unless mom or dad prefers otherwise! Safety is incredibly important to us so all animals will stay leashed outside and I have a 2 pet limit set on Rover so things stay calm and we have plenty of scratchies & snuggle time with the dogs who like to hang out with humans. Have a senior pup who wants to hide somewhere quiet? There's plenty of great hiding spots and we'll tote a bed over to their new favorite spot to keep them comfy.

About: My lifelong love for animals began growing up visiting farms, which taught me to be patient, gentle, and attentive to animal’s needs. I worked at an animal hospital for over a year, assisting veterinarians with administering medications to dogs and cats. This structure allows me to seamlessly fit pet care into my morning window (6:00 AM – 11:00 AM) and my midday window (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM) before my evening practices start. I update my Rover calendar weekly to align perfectly with my teaching lessons and coaching sessions. This ensures that when I am booked for a walk, I have zero outside distractions and can dedicate my full attention to your dog's exercise and safety. Since I only offer dog walking services, I focus entirely on providing exceptional care at the client's home. Before entering, I carefully review the owner's entry instructions to ensure the home remains secure. Once inside, I greet the dog calmly, properly secure their collar or harness, and double-check that the leash is safely attached. After our walk, I ensure the dog has fresh water, wipe their paws if needed, and securely lock the client's door exactly as requested. I always send a detailed Rover card update with photos before leaving.

About: Former doggy daycare, boarding and grooming owner. Trustworthy, always excited to exercise the pups. My coworkers include 2 year old golden (Finn) and 15 year old son. Getting out with Finn after work and on weekends brings me joy so I’d like to bring that same joy to other pups. Having a teenage son in an highly expensive sport and needing a car, I’ve decided to get back to walking and dog sitting: I walk daily with my Finn and want to provide the same walks to others that need it. Available everyday. Generally don’t walk after sunset but depending the lighting and area I could make an exception. I have a home with a large yard in Lorton across from trails and parks. The yard is fenced in everywhere but at the end of driveway.
