“Hawani was a life saver! I booked her last minute and she was able to go check on my pup. Little did she know what she was going to walk into! My escape artist got out of his cage and unfortunately pooped around my apartment. Hawani was kind enough to send me updates immediately when she got into my place. And was kind enough to clean up after him even though I told her it was okay! She was also very understanding stating she understood (as he is still a pup). Throughout her booking she kept me updated and was very thorough about taking care of him! Sent me photos and videos. She also was helpful to make sure he was fully secure in his crate as he got out before she arrived. Highly recommend! Thank you Hawani!”

“Kristina was amazing with my 8-month-old kitten! My little furball can be a mix of sweet and mischievous, but Kristina handled her like a pro. She took great care of her, kept me updated with pictures and messages, and made sure everything was just right at home. When I got back, my kitten looked happy, relaxed, and maybe even a little disappointed that her new best friend had left! It’s clear Kristina gave her plenty of love and attention. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and great with pets, Kristina’s the one to call. Highly recommend!”

“Ajia is professional and communicative. I have two cats who aren’t always the easiest to deal with and have complicated medication, however Ajia handled them with ease. She also has managed to be in good graces with my oldest cat who is notoriously moody. I felt that my cats were in good hands.”

“Emily was amazing! We went on our trip and felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of our girls! We loved how communicative she was with us and her attention to detail during her drop in visits. Emily was great with our cat and rabbit and treated them like they were her own. We are so fortunate to have found Emily for our pet needs! Thank you!!”

“Dani did a great job taking care of my senior kitties. She was very mindful of making sure one got his blood pressure meds on a consistent schedule.”

“Spencer and Julia were so kind, responsive, and absolutely amazing with my dog! Loved loved loved the photos they sent - cannot recommend them enough!”

“Molly was absolutely amazing & took such great care of our cat Rosie while we were on vacation for a week. She came daily to play with her, refresh her water, clean litter box, & give her treats. We will definitely be using her again!!!”

“My cat Hannah was well taken care of and in good hands while I was away! Lisa gave great drop-in visits and left Rover cards to keep me updated. Thanks for a reliable service!”

“Samantha was amazing and provided very quick and constant communication when watching my cat!! He’s a very energetic cat and she made me feel very calm knowing he’s in good hands! I would definitely book again with her!”

“Julian was great! I wanted to visit family last minute this Christmas, leaving behind 3 pets for a few days, my dog and cat, and my girlfriend’s cat. He was very playful with our pets and very cooperative annd respectful even with our lengthy requests, absolutely thankful and will definitely be contacting again!”

“Aimee - was very easy to communicate with, responsive and professional. I felt my kitties were well taken care of while I was gone. Really appreciated Aimee’s flexibility on when to come over. All in all great experience!”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a kid. Ever since I can remember there have always been pets and animals in and around my family. My family had dogs and cats growing up, I've also had fish, turtles, and geckos. I have some experience (not certified) in dog training, as I trained my current dog with my brother. I am comfortable with dogs of any size, having grown up around larger breeds. I currently work in the evenings, except for Tuesdays and Saturdays. This leaves me free in the mornings and afternoons to walk and take care of pets. I make sure I have all the information I need about whoever I'm looking after. I ask for the owner's preferences with types of walks, length, play, treats, etc. I report any potential issues with the pets to the owners.
“This is the second time Jocelyn has watched our cats while we had a weekend trip and she did an amazing job again! She was super responsive and always let me know when she was heading over and had arrived. I know my kitties are in good hands when she is watching them!”
About: I have taken care of a range of dogs, from puppies to seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to walk their dogs, feed them, and sometimes stay overnight. I have also been one of the primary caretaker's for my family's dog, Ernie, who we've had since he was a puppy. In the summers, I am free most of the time, for whenever I am needed. I am already used to factoring in pet care into my daily life, planning walks and care around different points in the day. I will treat your fur baby like it's my own. I will make sure to keep a close eye on your pet, will give them lots of love and attention (and of course treats!). I will follow any regulations that you, as the owner, would provide.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Baileys Crossroads
Heather was great. She was courteous, helpful and followed the care instructions we provided. She even brought our packages! The updates she shared while we were traveling allowed us to feel comfortable knowing our cat was doing well in our absence. We’d happily book Heather again.

Rachel has been my go-to sitter for over two years now, and has always been great with my cat, super punctual, responsive, friendly, and helpful, even when my travel plans and sitting needs come at the last minute. I trust her to take great care of my cat while I’m away and highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet care!

Guiselle was amazing and made everything seamless! Our kittens are 6 months old, and we booked her to drop in and feed/play/clean litter box throughout the week on our vacation, and it was perfect for us! My physical therapist recommended her, and I am so glad we booked her!

Sara was great and clearly very experienced with cats. I can tell Babette loved hanging out with her! Babette is very high energy and Sara played with her a lot and gave great updates/photos. I also appreciate how flexible and responsive she was with scheduling. My flight got delayed a few times and Sara adjusted the schedule for us accordingly.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Baileys Crossroads. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
