About: My name is Emily, I am starting my first year in college this fall. I have four dogs of my own named Blacky, Tyson, Bella, and Geo. Blacky is 8, Tyson is 3, Bella and Geo are just 4 months old. I absolutely love having dogs because of their company and how cute they are. “I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I have experience with dog training, specifically puppies. I had the good fortune of learning how to train my Border Collie puppy, Khailo, (now 10) with a CCI-certified service dog trainer specializing in puppies. Khailo and I saw the trainer multiple times per week for about a year, establishing a good foundation that he always go back to. Raising Khailo taught me so much and turned me into a HUGE dog lover. Prior to that I liked dogs, now I LOVE them, and speak their language. I know how to properly walk a dog instead of letting the pup walk me, I know how to encourage good habits, and I will ALWAYS keep your dog's safety a number one priority. I also have experience administering medication to both puppies and adult dogs, have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs, have experience watching multiple dogs at once, and also have experience with play-dates and dog parks. I will treat your pup as if they are my own. I look forward to being of service to you and your pup! I currently work full-time with a hybrid schedule, where I’m in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have both daytime and evening availability on Tuesdays, Fridays, weekends, and all major holidays. I am also available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings before 8 am and evenings after 6:15 pm. I am open to both short-term and long-term set schedules to accommodate you and your pup's needs, and am available for boarding both at my home and pet-sitting at your place of residence. I live in a very pet-friendly community with lots of outdoor space for your pup to play, as well as an indoor dog park for inclement and/or freezing temperatures. When providing care at your home, I will respect all rules you have for your pup, such as not being allowed on furniture, etc. and will stick to your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. I would be providing service outside of my home. Your pup’s safety is my number one priority and, having been trained by a CCI service dog trainer myself, I am well-versed in translating your dog behavior, thus keeping them safe in all environments and under all circumstances. I am a very maternal person, and will give your pup all of the love, care and attention they need!

About: I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients alike since I was 15. All of my life I grew up around big dogs and would consider myself a dog person so no size or breed scares me- I am happy to give your pets the attention and love they deserve! I now live with my two cats whom I love dearly and are trying their hardest to turn me into a cat person. I am happy to walk and play with pets as often as requested and I am comfortable giving any sort of medication. I am currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College, but I am part time this summer so I have plenty of time to take good care of your pet(s)! I offer fees on a sliding scale based on income- contact me about my rates and I’m happy to adjust. I am a very attentive caregiver and will give your pets lots of attention while I’m on the clock. I am also happy to sit around and just keep them company if your pets are slow going like mine are.

About: Not just another dog lover! I’ve had at least one dog, plus, at all times. Most from a puppy until departure. Experience with rescued dogs in making them feel comfortable/relaxed. We had a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. I’m very patient, caring, & don’t mind petting or playing all day. I’m hoping to give them the love and care when you can’t be ther. I work from home several days during the week and can properly share my time for walks, feeding, and playing. I have a Cocker Spaniel who gets along with other dogs well. I’m home in the evenings and weekends. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with plenty of grassy areas and usually take my dog on a walk in the neighborhood. I don’t have any furniture or bed restrictions. I am happy to sit at your home, if preferred.
