Hi, I'm Laura! I've been caring for animals my whole life, and I bring years of hands-on experience with all kinds of pets. I'm comfortable with dogs, cats, fish, rodents, reptiles, horses, and more - if they have fur, feathers, or scales, I'm happy to help. I love working with big pets, small pets, seniors, puppies/kittens, and high-energy animals. Every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I mostly work from home, though I occasionally take on odd jobs, which gives me a flexible schedule. I'm typically able to stop in at least every 4 hours, making it easy for me to keep your pets on their routine and feeling comfortable. Your pets' safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities so I am able to feed, walk, administer medication, bathe, etc. I can't wait to meet you - so let’s chat! :)

Laura did a great job with my three Goldens! My dogs are fully of energy, and there are a lot of them, so it has been hard to find someone up to the challenge! Laura is so nice, and I am looking forward to having her come over and take care of the dogs again in the future.
I have an elderly arthritic dog who has lots of needs and lots of meds. She did great with him and went above and beyond. She even offered to take his 95lb fluffy butt to the groomer when she noticed some irritation on his skin. She’s very communications and responsive and we will definitely book again.
Laura did a great job caring for my dog and cat while we were out of the country. She was willing to come to a meet and greet, and I felt like my elderly dog with lots of needs was in good hands. She was very communicative and I would definitely book with her again.
Laura was amazing— sent lots of updates while we were gone. Max seemed to have a great time and our house was even better than when we left.

Laura was amazing with our 2 energetic dogs and older cat that needed daily thyroid medication and subcutaneous fluids. The house was left all in tact and she even washed her linens and put clean sheets on our bed. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that after a long days journey 😊

Schedule
I am currently working from home, so I am available to meet pet boarding, walking, or other care needs 24/7! I am able to give your pet my undivided attention between my other tasks.

I have an apartment adjacent to a dog park and with plenty of outdoor space. I am able to take your pet to the nearby public park as well. I don’t have any furry pets… just a betta fish!
A typical day
I can take your dogs for walks in the dog park or the Occoquan parks. Or if your pet is more low key… we can hang out at my apartment. I have plenty of space to play.
