About: I had two dogs growing up (Snowball and Mocha) and in recent years, have dog sat for friends, friends, and for Rover clients. It's rewarding and super fun for me! I enjoy the long walks in my neighborhood (I live in an awesome neighborhood for that) and lots of cuddles/belly rubs with the dogs I am sitting! I work from home most of the week and have plenty of time during the day for neighborhood strolls/walks with my rover pups. I love going for walks to take a break so would take the dog out at least 3 or 4 times a day with me. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom/2 floor condo with a balcony. The dog would have access to the first floor. We have hard wood floors, a ton of really great light and are on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators in this building. We have a ton of neighbors who have dogs, an elementary school near by with a nice track/green space, and lots of side walk space for walks.

The day of the daycare went great, Milo went on walks and played with Lily and another corgi they were taking care of. About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** **For house sitting you must be ok with my dog Buddy coming with me and staying at your house as well.** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.

They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. They both came home to me happy and sleepy, I know that Finn would not be sleepy if he did not get the stimulation that he needs especially at this stage of his life. Thank you, Corey and Nyla! It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!
Gianna is awesome! She took great care of my rambunctious 20 month old pittie, Eddie. He got several walks, hung out on her patio, and snuggled on her sofa watching Dog TV. Gianna sends adorable photos throughout the day. I’m definitely going to continue to use her for daycare.

This was Augie’s first time spending time away from us with strangers and Marie was very welcoming and seemed to understand dogs and Augie felt at home. Marie also had a good size enclosed yard. She communicated and responded to my texts about on how he was doing. I would use her again, if I was traveling through Washington DC.
Madina was so easy to schedule with and very accommodating when I didn’t know exactly what my schedule was going to be. I am so glad that my puppy and hers got along so well and he is definitely exhausted from such a full day! I will definitely be rebooking with Madina for any daycare needs!
