About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was very young, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a pug, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently in my last semester of nursing school! My classes are online, and I only have one in-person clinical day per week, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available for doggy daycare, boarding, and walks throughout the week and can usually accommodate different drop-off, pick-up, and walk times. 🐾 Safety is always my top priority. I grew up with dogs and currently have a sweet pug, so I’m very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and personalities. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure dogs are supervised, fed on schedule, and kept in a safe environment. I’m happy to crate your dog if needed, follow any routines you prefer, and give your pup plenty of love and attention while you’re away.

“Nyla and Corey took excellent care of my pets while I was visiting my brother in Alexandria. They were able to accommodate a last minute request due to an unforeseen work situation I was in. Corey was able to pick up my pups and bring them home which was a huge help, as I am not very familiar with the DC Metro area in addition to the horrific traffic. They sent me photos during the day to let me know how my dogs were doing, which was great as I am a helicopter pet parent. What began as a last minute doggy day care issue became a blessing as I will always utilize Corey and Nyla in the future when visiting my brother in Alexandria. I should also mention that I have a bossy female toy poodle Lu and a mini Aussie puppy Finn. They are both well trained but get super excited being around new people and Finn needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. About: My parents owned a doggy daycare and boarding place for dogs - I would watch over 40 dogs and ensure dogs never got into fights. I also have pet sat my neighbor’s dogs and cats and did drop in visits. And back in NJ, I always visit and look after my parent’s dog Bailey who is a yellow lab! I am currently searching for a new job and am doing Rover in the meantime! I’m available all day. Side note: I live with a female roommate and my boyfriend likes to sleep over on weekends. Both of them are comfortable around dogs and cats. I would love to meet you and your pet beforehand to get to know you both and learn what needs to be done! In general, for client visits, I will always check in with your pet by giving them pets and/or scratches if they prefer. I’ll check to make sure they have enough food and water or feed your pet right away. After, I’ll go on a short or long walk for dogs. And of course, extra pets/scratches once your pet returns phone and double checking that the door/house is locked.
About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. I show a lot of love and affection to pups and will keep them occupied and hopefully burn some of their energy playing and going on walks/runs!

It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!
Gianna is awesome! She took great care of my rambunctious 20 month old pittie, Eddie. He got several walks, hung out on her patio, and snuggled on her sofa watching Dog TV. Gianna sends adorable photos throughout the day. I’m definitely going to continue to use her for daycare.

Matthew was great watching my pup Willa for a last minute doggy day care!
