About: I love all kind of animals. I own two dogs and they are my family and everything. As a dog owner I know how important and how hard to find dog sitters that you can trust and depend on. I have my own car and I am pretty flexible during the day. I can take care of your pet needs including walks, going to dog park, trip to pet store, playtime. I am 35 years old, I have been in DC area over 8 years. I know the DC and Arlington area well. I have full time job but I mostly work nights. I am free during the day besides spending time with my furry babies. They love going to dog parks and walking in the neighborhood.
About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years- I am great with all breeds and have a knack for training puppies (and older dogs too!) I am working from home and live right along a beautiful pet friendly park! I go on walks and runs throughout the day so love taking pups out with me! I ensure dogs are well taken care of and have experience administering different medications to dogs (including allergy injections) and following dietary restrictions or other needs. It was so easy to communicate with Amanda - quick responses to my messages and we are all set for a meet and greet, then she looked after Daisy today. She has a really cute ground level apartment right next to the Ballston Commons, and it has access to a fenced in shared yard for bathroom breaks. Daisy takes a moment to warm up to new people, but she quickly befriended Amanda and it took some effort when I came to pick her up to get Daisy to leave her curled up spot on the couch next to Amanda. ❣️. I'm so happy to have found a good Rover daycare sitter and will definitely be booking with Amanda again!
