We have a small fenced backyard for a quick potty break and outside time! Fur babies are welcome to rest on our couch and bed. Can also crate if that’s what they want!

Please let me know if your furbabies have any allergies. We will stick to pet food and won’t feed human food unless it is allowed.

I will make sure your furbabies are very well fed on a fixed schedule and have play sessions frequently either in our fenced backyard, the unfenced lawn in front of our place, or in our apartment (I used to play hide and seek, chasing and running with dogs in our house). Morning walks are usually shorter within 30 minutes. After work, we can take the dog for a longer walk around our neighborhood - I often go for a walk up to 2 miles in the evening if the weather is nice.

My husband Mark and I have taken care of our friends dogs in our house a lot when our friends are out of town and we started our dog sitting journey during COVID as our hobby. Mark grew up with three dogs (20+ years with dogs) and both of us had cats for years in the past as well. We have taken care of dogs from small chihuahuas to full size golden retrievers. We are working professionals in our late 20s. We usually sit only one pet in the house (unless the dogs/cats know each other and get along already) - to make sure the pet we take care of gets 100% of our attention and care 💯 We only sit dogs when we are sure at least one of us is home mostly the whole day and we don’t have busy work that day. Again, we want to make sure we give the best care to our guest! When we are home working (I.e,. our calendar shows we are available during work days), our schedules are usually pretty flexible during the day to have at least one person walk, feed or play with your pet(s) and we always check in with the pet(s) at least every couple hours. We definitely have more flexibility during weekends - weekend play sessions and city walks woohoo! If your dog likes long walks, we can definitely do that! We often walk from 1.5 to 3 miles to get our steps in and some breakfast/coffee/dinner on the way. Our living room has big glass windows and doors. Every pet visited us LOVED to sunbath in the living room as we get a ton of sunlight especially in the mornings. We are doing this not for the money but for meeting some beautiful dog and cat angels and get some love from doggies and kittens :) We just moved back to the DC area after living in Philly for 2 years and we decided to not have our own dog at this moment. But we still want some love from your pet! We will take care of him/her like he/she is our own. Happy to share previous client photos and answer your questions. They were fantastic! My dog hasn’t been feeling well lately and has been picky with food, sometimes even refusing to go on walks. They went above and beyond in every way, prepping his special diet, encouraging him to eat several times throughout the day (way more often than I even asked), and keeping me updated on how much he ate and his overall energy level. It was clear they were doing everything they could to help him feel comfortable, including patiently encouraging him on walks even when he wasn’t interested. On top of all that, they took the time to play with him and give him lots of attention, which I know made a big difference. I felt reassured knowing he was in such caring hands. Highly recommend!
