About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 8 years, and it’s truly my passion! I got my start on Wag, where I’ve earned 446 five-star reviews from happy pet parents. I treat every dog like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. 🐾 I’m big on communication and always keep pet parents updated with lots of photos and messages so they know their fur babies are in the best hands. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a sweet senior, or a shy pup who needs extra patience, I adjust to each dog’s unique needs with lots of love and care. 💕🐶 This is my full time job! 🤗 I can be scheduled last minute! But prefer to be booked in advance, I do get booked pretty quick ☺️ I live in an apartment. I always make sure to follow all pet parents instructions. I also have a doggie park and a walking trail near my home 🤗

It’s a diamond in the rough when you do find it.”

About: I have experience taking care of my friend’s dogs and dogs on Rover. I have approximately 6 years of experience. To me, dogs are the human beings that can’t speak so they need all the TLC we can give ❤️. I sat both big and small dogs before. The biggest dog that I have taken care of is a 90 lb black lab and hound mix. The smallest one is an Cavapoo mix. I enjoy playing with dogs, taking then to walks, dog parks and even running outside. I accept a dogs of all sizes but I prefer medium to small size because I live in a first floor condo. I have a small fenced yard in the front. I don’t always work from home now but I will give your doggie as much company as possible😃. I also can take your little cutie to pottery as how you do it at home. My friends and Rover clients have relied on me when they are away traveling. Looking forward to getting to know your pets and make friends with them ❤️❤️❤️ I go to work 4 hours a day but I have plenty of time to keep your pup company! I love walking outside so I always take pups out for walk when I go outside. I can also take your pet to dog parks if you need. I’m also comfortable with running with your 🐶. I don’t have any pets at home and pups can play on my furnitures as well. You pet can live happily at my home. No crate needed. They can also sit on my furniture. I will make sure that they will live happily and are well taken care of at my home! I usually go to work in the morning and come back after lunch to work from home. I will have sufficient tike to keep your dog company 😊 I have a little fenced yard in front of my condo and a big community lawn right outside the yard. I can keep your dog crated if needed. Also, I don’t have a pet at home and I only take one dog per time.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lincolnia
I needed to find a sitter while traveling to VA for the 4th of July - Christin is a wonderful communicator, and even without the opportunity for a meet and greet I felt very at ease about having Felix stay with her. She was very understanding and flexible with my fluctuating schedule, she and her husband were both very helpful in making Felix feel comfortable when we first arrived, and I had total confidence that he would be well cared for during his stay with her (and he was 😊)!!

They made Chance and Po feel so at home. Both the home and back yard (fully fenced in) are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Anya was very welcoming of both of them, and somehow both Sarah and her husband made our incredibly shy dog feel comfortable enough to ask for pets, which absolutely never happens. 10/10
Paula was an exceptional rover! I had a last minute daycare request the evening prior and she accommodated for an early drop off. She gave my dog tons of exercise throughout the day which Miley loves, sent pics, and even gave fitness stats of the walks. My dog seemed content and received a take home treat when i picked her up. I recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter!

Oh my goodness Nya was amazing! Such acseeet personality and she really came through for me in a crucial moment. I had to move and needed a sitter for my doggie ladybug and what an amazing job she did with keeping me posted and beautiful pictures of ladybug throughout her day with Nya. I would definitely us her services when we need help and I highly recommend her

Carolina was so sweet and accommodating!! She had to be ready to receive my pups at 6 am, which is so early and had them for a very long day! I felt relieved knowing that my pups were in good hands. Suki is quite hyper when she first arrives to a new place and Carolina was so patient with her, a true dog lover!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lincolnia commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
