About: I lost my fur baby last year, and I'm not yet ready to get a dog myself but miss the companionship. I also love getting my exercise through walking, so what better than getting some exercises with pooches! I've been a dog lover forever and have extended experience caring for dogs with special medical needs (like diabetes and blind dogs). I work mostly from home and have a flexible schedule. I love to walk and have a raincoat, rain boots, snow jacket, etc. for all-weather trekking! We have plenty of space both inside and out to for your fur babies to run around! We have comfortable couches and beds for your babies to nap and cuddle on.

This was Jackson's third day care visit with Helena & Nathan and they have taken such wonderful care of my sweet boy each and every time. It is such a great comfort to me knowing that he is so well-cared for when I'm stuck at work for such a long day. H&N sent photos of my boy throughout the day and I could see how comfortable and happy he was to be there. I highly recommend H&N -when I need day care for Jackson, I always check their schedule first to see if they are available!
Dalila took in our puppy Olive last minute and was a life saver! She has young dogs so she was familiar with the nuances of a puppy, and her dogs were great at socializing our girl and providing a lot of play to get her energy out. I literally had to drag my dog out of there! 10/10 recommend!
He was able to provide me care on short notice and was very communicated through the whole process. Samson seem to fit right in and was comfortable. Was given an update throughout the day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter. Conveniently close by the trails!
Bridgette was beyond amazing with our pup Louie! She was flexible and accommodating with a pretty early AM drop off, and sent so many great video and picture updates. I’m so grateful to have met her and to know that Lou is safe and having so much fun with Bridgette and her dog!
We are so very thankful for Corey! Our boys, Chester (2) and Chief (14 weeks) had the best time with her while my husband and I are on vacation and spent the day in D.C. She was so friendly and professional, making us feel completely at ease leaving the boys in her care. Corey let them outside to play and potty several times throughout the day in her fenced-in backyard. It gave us such peace of mind that her yard was fenced in, knowing they were safe. Corey even had some new toys they loved playing with! She also went above and beyond by sending us photo updates throughout the day, which we really appreciated. Emily was so happy and excited to spend time with our dogs. She has a great fenced in yard for them to play in. And she took them on three walks throughout the day. Sent me photos and messages also. Really easy to get to dc by metro from her house (she offered a metro card and a parking space) but we ended up driving instead.
I have started taking my puppy to Spencer’s for training and sitting. Spencer is incredibly knowledgeable about development, how dog’s communicate, and all aspects of dog training. He has been incredibly helpful to me with suggestions and strategies to help my dog’s behavior. My dog has made so much progress. Spencer truly cares about animals and takes time to share information and follow up. I highly recommend Spencer and am grateful for his help and care of my dog.
