I currently work from 8:30-5:30pm on week days. I am free any time on weekends, and after 6pm on week days. I will update my calendar with any holiday availability as well.

A typical day
Typically for dogs I take them on a 30 minute walk and refresh their water (and food/meds as per the owners instructions). I will also play with the dog if there are toys available. For cats, I will refresh the food, water, and litter box and play with them. I especially enjoy watching them swat around toys on strings or chasing balls.

Pet care experience
I've had and cared for a wide variety of animals, and I absolutely adore all of them! I grew up with a whole host of pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, etc.). I also have experience caring for chickens, reptiles, special needs pets, elderly animals, and puppies. I love exotic animals (snakes, lizards, birds, etc.) as long as I am given detailed instructions on what to do (just list them as a cat on Rover).

My kitties love their visits with Shelby! I love knowing she will be visiting my babies while we’re away because I know they will be in good hands. Shelby takes great pictures and always fills me in on how the visit goes. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect companion for your pet while you’re away.
