Just Us Your Pet and Plenty of Care
Grant learned to be a responsible, sweet pet owner when he was a kid, with often up to five dogs and cats in the household at one time. Throughout his life, he's taken care of puggles, chihuahahs, dobermans, rottweilers, mastiffs, basset hounds, and more. He's also taken care of many cats, both indoors and outdoors. Grant is very physically active and preparing for Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, and is more than happy to walk or even run with your dog at whatever time works best for you and your pet's needs. Rei has been caring for cats for more than three years and is a volunteer at the Prince William County Animal Services Center, where she works in Kitty City sometimes. She has a fully remote tech job, which allows her to spend plenty of time caring for pets, keeping them company, and taking them on walks throughout the day. Together, we love spending time with animals and giving them plenty of attention. We only care for one client's pets at a time, and one of us is almost always home, so your pet will never be left wondering where everyone went. Since we don't currently have any pets or children of our own, we can focus all our love and attention on your fur baby. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or a trip to the park, we're happy to tailor our care to your pet's needs.

Grant and Yunrui took excellent care of Sarge! He's a good boy but he's a dog reactive so I always look for people that can handle that and they did a great job with him. It was also important that there was someone there with him during most of the day because that's what he's used to and he gets anxious by himself. Sarge truly had a great time with them and it was a vacation for him too!
Rei was great with our little pup while we were gone for the evening… she followed all instructions and we felt comfortable while away! Thanks again!
Grant and Yunrui were, simply put. awesome. This was the first time we ever had someone stay in our home with our pets and admittedly, I was a little nervous. Throughout the entire process they understood my feelings, and were patient —from the initial meet and greet to answering our questions before and throughout their stay. They were so respectful of our home and so loving and caring for our animals. Every day we got updates and pictures and I can’t say enough about how this experience has been so positive. We will definitely rebook them again for future stays!
They took exceptional care of my sweet girl cat, Harley while we were away and gave me complete peace of mind throughout the entire experience. They were reliable, attentive, and clearly have a genuine love for animals.
They were awesome! Grant and Yunrui were so great with my Miama and sent me plenty of photos and updates on how she was doing during my trip which eased my nervousness on leaving her. They were also super patient since my dog is a little reactive and were completely understanding and nice about it. I would most definitely book with them again!
Grant and Yunrui were outstanding caring for our dog for over 10 days. They were kind, responsive, responsible, and flexible. Our dog, who can be challenging in that she does not like other dogs and is skeptical of strangers, quickly warmed up to Grant and Yunrui. They kindly cared for our dog, walking her several times a day, playing with her often, and even helping to settle her stomach and otherwise calming her. 10/10 rating for them! Will be using them again for our dog (13 years old Austrian Cattle Dog Mix). Look no further if you want the best care for your pet!

Schedule
Having now settled in after our recent move to the area, both Grant and Rei have a very open schedule to take care of your pet, and can respond to requests on short notice. Grant is preparing for Marine Corps Officer Candidate School at home, and is usually working out or taking care of household responsibilities, and Rei is a tech worker who works from home. Grant can be summoned to help on short notice anytime, and Rei is always the anchor at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We live in a quiet one-bedroom apartment in northern Woodbridge with no other pets, allowing us to provide a calm, low-stress environment and individualized attention. We keep doors securely closed, walk dogs on leash at all times, provide fresh water throughout the day, and carefully follow each pet's feeding schedule and any special care instructions. We also pay close attention to each pet's behavior and well-being so we can quickly recognize signs of stress or discomfort and help them feel safe and comfortable. We can also monitor and care for pets experiencing digestive issues. For active dogs, we have easy access to a private dog run and park within our community for exercise and playtime. We also provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
A typical day
With Rei working from home during the day, we can go for walks or runs, play in the fenced dog park, or snooze at home with lots of pets included!
