I truly love all dogs, and you can feel confident knowing your pet will be in caring and capable hands with me. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors who may need extra support. Having cared for my own diabetic dog, I’m comfortable giving insulin, administering other shots or medications, and keeping pets on a consistent routine to support their health and happiness. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they always feel safe, comfortable, and loved. 🐶🫶🏼

I don’t offer boarding at this time, but during house sitting or drop-in visits, I make it a priority to ensure owners can trust me. I treat the home with respect, follow all instructions carefully, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
Ratings and reviews
Melissa took amazing care of our dog Rocky and our home. Rocky can be a bit standoffish, especially when we are gone, but from the pictures Melissa sent and how calm he was when we got home, it was clear that he was happy and well cared for by Melissa. We hope she will take care of him again!

Melissa is so incredible. She has watched my dog/s 4 times now and I am 100 confident she takes the best care of them. This last visit, I asked her if she could pick up medicine for my dog and she did. She didn’t have to do that but she went out of her way to go above and beyond in taking care of my big baby Tank. I am so grateful for her!
Melissa was totally awesome!! She gave us an update every day and sent pictures along with it (some of them were truly hilarious. I was able to communicate our dog Tater’s fear of thunderstorms and that we give him a calming treat to help with the anxiety. Melissa understood this instruction and was able to follow the protocol to a tee. We left Melissa a list of instructions along with point of contact phone numbers and other helpful information. She reviewed these with us during our face-to-face meet and greet and had it under control. Because of an unfortunate incident with a hot pan, Melissa let us know right away and offered to pay for it. The pan was not expensive so it was no big deal; we were more concerned about her and our dogs getting burned. To make it for it, Melissa left us a note and treats (for both us and the dogs) which was a pleasant surprise. In addition, when we arrived home, the dogs were “put behind bars” in the family room and soothing music was playing. This allowed us to enter the house with our luggage and not be attacked. We could tell they missed us but were sad to see Melissa go. Melissa also washed the sheets and towels she used during her stay and the kitchen was spotless. It looked even cleaner than when we left. I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa for her service and if she is available will book again for a February 2027 vacation we have planned.

Schedule
I currently have a completely open schedule and work only through Rover, which gives me the flexibility to provide pets with the time, care, and attention they need throughout the day.
