I was initially a little hesitant about having two people watching him, simply because we’d never had a couple before, but if you’re on the fence like I was, don’t pass them up — it worked perfectly for us. They arrived on time for both the meet-and-greet and the sitting job, and they checked in to confirm the times I had listed before coming and when they were scheduled to leave. Our guy is very routine-oriented, and they followed my detailed instructions (yes, I’m that parent!) to a tee — including giving his meds on time, which was huge for us since some past sitters have struggled with that. I truly couldn’t have asked for better sitters; they’re probably my favorite so far. I’ll absolutely continue to use them and am already working to see if they’re available to sit for us again. I have worked in several dog daycares and was also a grooming apprentice. I know the basics in grooming like nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, bathing and brushing dogs. About: I have had pets all my life. I started helping take care of my cat and dogs at around 10 years old. I help out with my friends and extended family members pets as well. My dog takes medication in the morning so I can administer medication if needed. She has also gone through two surgeries so I can help during pet recovery as well. I’ve had hyperactive dogs as well as territorial/ toy-aggressive dogs and know how to deal with them. I have also had dogs who needed extra care due to being old. I do know a little bit about training dogs but not much. I work part time and go to college full time. However, I live at home with my parents so I can fit pet care into my schedule. I have a fenced backyard for my dog to run around or just lay outside. I walk her 2/3 times a day and she gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. I also spend a lot of time with her whether it’s playing around or just watching tv. If I am caring for someone else’s pets, I feed the pets and play with them as well as hang out with them.

We had a great experience with Skyler and highly recommend her services. From the initial contact, Skyler was responsive and prompt. While we were gone, we received daily updates and lots of pictures and it was obvious our pets (2 dogs, 3 bunnies and a fish) were getting a lot of love and attention. At one point during the trip, I realized we forgot to put a vacation feeder in the fish tank and I reached out to Skyler who not only fed the fish, but sent us a video to assure us he was alive and well. The next time we need someone to watch Ruby, Lucy, Peaches, Penny, Arnold, & Todd, we will definitely reach out to Skyler.
