About: I've always been a natural caregiver. I've had pets since I was born, took care of my grandmother in her final years, and I take care of patients of all ages everyday as a healthcare worker. My goal is always to look out for the underdog (pun intended). I work at a dental clinic nearby with nights, weekends, and every other Friday off. My 15 minute commute allows me to pop home if I need to let our pup out. I have plenty of time before and after work for walks and snuggles too! I am very comfortable taking care of high energy, strong, and high-needs dogs. About: Over the years, I've been blessed with friends trusting me to care for their fur babies, and we always have a good time. I observe every tiny detail of doggie behavior and what makes them comfortable. I enjoy letting them smell and observe their surroundings, and get them acclimated before introducing them to my day-to-day lifestyle, but I’m pretty much chill and easygoing. Both of my dogs are obedient and friendly, and have been trained at home. One of our dogs came home as a puppy, and the other one is a rescue, and both get along well. With practice and patience, I’ve learned to take care of most of their grooming, including nails, ears, paw trims, brushing their teeth, de-shedding, and doggie baths. With routines, I like start small with walks to get a sense of their pace and smelling habits so that they enjoy every minute, and if need be, I can help correct some of the leash pulling. I am also well accustomed to administering oral medication when dogs are on a schedule, so if that's something that you need for your pup, I’m happy to help. I'm blessed to be able to work from home, so I spend all day with my dogs. My usual work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9-5 pm, so I usually run my errands in the afternoon, and go for a walk with them if it’s nice out. On occasions, I sometimes take my pups to the dog park so they can burn some energy. Your pup will rarely be alone, but if I need to run errands for whatever reason, I have a doggie room with a camera so I can monitor them. There’s also plenty of toys, beds, and crates, just in case. I don't crate my pups anymore since they've learned to behave when alone, but if you'd like me to crate yours, just let me know. I’m more than happy to accommodate you and your fur baby's needs. In this house, your pet isn't a guest; they’re part of the pack. I have two other dogs that will keep your baby company and provide lots of playtime. I will follow your home routine to a T, and provide lots of belly rubs, walkies, and playtime. My house has a large fenced-in backyard, so they will have ample room to play and frequent breaks. Additionally, the neighborhood is very dog-friendly, so there are lots of sidewalks for walkies. There’s have plenty of toys here, and there are also a few dog parks nearby that we can visit, if your dog is comfortable. If your pup is more on the older side, prefers to sleep all day, and doesn't like to play as much, and/or is more of a loner, that's OK too! I’ll adjust to your routine and keep you up-to-date on everything. Basically, expect a very happy, very sleepy pet at pickup, daily updates, and peace of mind!

About: I have had pets all my life. I started helping take care of my cat and dogs at around 10 years old. I help out with my friends and extended family members pets as well. My dog takes medication in the morning so I can administer medication if needed. She has also gone through two surgeries so I can help during pet recovery as well. I’ve had hyperactive dogs as well as territorial/ toy-aggressive dogs and know how to deal with them. I have also had dogs who needed extra care due to being old. I do know a little bit about training dogs but not much. I work part time and go to college full time. However, I live at home with my parents so I can fit pet care into my schedule. I have a fenced backyard for my dog to run around or just lay outside. I walk her 2/3 times a day and she gets fed twice a day, morning and evening. I also spend a lot of time with her whether it’s playing around or just watching tv. If I am caring for someone else’s pets, I feed the pets and play with them as well as hang out with them.

About: I've always been a natural caregiver. I've had pets since I was born, took care of my grandmother in her final years, and I take care of patients of all ages everyday as a healthcare worker. My goal is always to look out for the underdog (pun intended). I work at a dental clinic nearby with nights, weekends, and every other Friday off. My 15 minute commute allows me to pop home if I need to let our pup out. I have plenty of time before and after work for walks and snuggles too! I have a fenced in backyard, a super laid back 9 year old lab mix, and two chill cats who pretty much keep to themselves. We have plenty of extra space for crating if need be! And if for some reason your furry friend needs and entirely secluded area, we can provide that as well.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 11 years, I am a full time GMU student but I’m flexible with my schedule! I am a full time student at GMU but my classes are spread out so I have a lot of time to work with. I’m very willing to work something out to ensure your fur babies get good care. I will respect your home and house rules when dropping in or taking the pets for walks. I like to stay on routine to ensure the fur babies get good time to go outside, walk, play and feeding, crating or even cleaning up after them. I will also send pictures with updates.

“Mary watched my two dogs a total of four times for three days at a time, and I waited till the last visit to write a review. Mary is absolutely awesome. My youngest can be a handful at times, but Mary is extremely patient, caring, and truly just loves dogs. I received a message from Mary on the second visit that my dog threw up and was not feeling good. She asks me if she can boil chicken breast and rice for him to have something easier on the stomach. This just made me feel good about leaving them in her care and that she had his best interest. She truly wants the best for them. She is the first person my dog has ever ran up to invitingly and was not timid of. I will definitely be going back to Mary if I’m in need of a good dog sitter.”
