I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past 20 years. I’ve cared for others in addition to my own. Our family has two rescue dogs, and one of them is a special needs dog. Pets are family to me, and I know how stressful it can be to leave on vacation thinking how much our pups will miss us, and whether they are safe and happy while we are away. I’m a substitute teacher who shifted careers after working as a Chef for 25 years. I have a passion for animals and I am good at gaining their trust and confidence. I have a flexible approach as I believe each pet is different. I can do drop ins, overnight stays, and also walking.

Having had pets my entire life, I know how important a set routing is for our pets. I like to know as much as possible of the routing YOU have established with your pups, so they can feel safe and adjust well to your absence.

Ive always been very nervous about trying Rover, but our new dog is too shy and sensitive for boarding, so we had to try sometime new. NO REGRETS! Michael watched our 2 dogs in our home, one very shy, and our very elderly shy cat for 10 days. Michael is great with animals and their individual needs, he even managed to befriend our shy guy Henry. As someone who has bad separation anxiety when it comes to her pets, I did much better than I usually do too compared to using boarding in the past, lol. We came home to 3 happy healthy pets and would definitely hire Michael again in the future.
Another great visit from Michael!
Michael will be watching our pups soon for an upcoming vacation so I had him stop by to spend some time with them as one of my dogs is VERY shy. He spent the entire time working with Henry and by the time he left had made significant progress. I feel confident leaving my pups in his care and can tell he really cares about them!
Michael took great care of our anxious rescue dog for two weeks and did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to rebook with him.
Michael was great with our two large dogs! One is a rescue with anxiety and she responded well to Michael. He stayed at our home and walked the dogs daily in addition to keeping them fed and happy! He reached out if he had any questions and sent pics daily! We highly recommend Michael!
Michael did a great job taking care of our fur-babies. Goose and Corona were well taken care of and happy being with Michael. They had a long walk and plenty of cuddle time, which is exactly what they need when they are separated from their people. I would rebook Michael anytime we are away.

Schedule
I have flexibility with my time as I did early retirement in order to pursue substitute teaching. I am able to take care of your pets during weekdays and weekends. I can also stay at your home overnight.
