“Isa was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Finley. She was attentive and clearly took the time to understand his routine and personality during her stay with him at our home. Finley can be a bit particular at times, but Isa handled everything so naturally and made sure he was comfortable, well cared for, and happy throughout the day. We really appreciated how thoughtful and communicative she was, and it meant a lot to know he was getting so much attention and care.”

“We couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! She went above and beyond to care for our pups and our home, especially when we faced unexpected travel delays due to weather. Her flexibility and great communication gave us so much peace of mind during a stressful situation. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which showed just how well our pups were doing in her care. The house was in perfect condition when we returned, and we’re so grateful for her professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend!”

“Michelle was very gracious and kind to come last minute when my mom had an unexpected hospital stay. She was flexible and understanding when my mom had a crisis and my husband was delayed getting back home. Her kindness and affection with our boy Sherlock was wonderful!”

“I am so glad we found Rachel on Rover. We were gone for three days, and she was great at sending pictures and updates throughout her stay with our fur babies. We loved that she spent a lot of time with them instead of just quick drop in visits. When we came home, our house looked great which says a lot when you have two big dogs who shed a lot. We already have her booked again soon, and hope to continue using her!”

“Livia was great!! She was able to come to our house for a meet and greet a few days before our last minute trip away on a holiday weekend. She was timely, flexible with our schedules, and comfortable with our four dogs and one cat. She gave us consistent updates and photos, which were super appreciated. We will definitely reach out to Livia again to pet sit our furballs. Thanks Livia!”

“Kyle did an amazing job taking care of my two big dogs after a last minute request for a weekend stay. My dogs warmed up to him immediately and he was very attentive to their needs. Kyle has also done additional drop in visits, providing updates and photos. I have already booked him for future housesitting and we will continue to book him as our trusted sitter.”

“Katherine did a great job communicating with me and taking care of my dog, Luray! It was the first time I have used Rover for an overnight stay and it was a great experience because of Katherine!”

About: Ever since I was little I've always been around animals, watching over both family and friend's pets. I've watched and cared for dogs of all ages and sizes from small to large and young to old. I am also not a stranger to dogs with special needs; such examples as blindness, anxiety and separation anxiety. I am currently going to High School but anytime after 4:00PM on weekdays work for me. My weekends are completely free so any time can work. Currently my house is not suitable for any pets as my landlord does not allow any, so I am only offering my dog walking services, check in visits and overnight stays.

About: I’ve been a (very happy) dog owner for 10 years, and an animal lover since my first pet cat at the age of 5. My two rescue pups are my life, and they live a healthy, active and loving life with me here in Burke. Growing up on a farm provided me with a life filled with animal caretaking, and has given me several unique opportunities to care for a TONS of different pets. Since living here in Burke for 2 years, I take a lot of pride in meeting and interacting with all of our dogs and families within our community. I spend a lot of time helping out neighbors with last minute dog walks or home sitting, and working with our other community members to create inclusive, safe environments for our dogs to play and interact at our local dog park. Taking care of dogs is a serious passion of mine. I treat my dogs Molly and Luna as my children, and I extend that same love and care to all fur babies who come my way. Working with pets is currently my full-time job and focus! Finding time to take care of your loved one(s) IS my routine, and can be available to provide walks, play time, house sitting, park visits, etc., from 9-4 every week day. I like to treat your pets as if they are my own. I will follow all directions providing for feeding, walks, and more. But on top of that I love to just spend time with them to make them feel at ease - belly rubs, playing with their favorite toy, or whatever else brings them joy!

“Seth watched our 3 dogs while we were out of town and he was fantastic. We got daily updates and pictures of our pups which clearly showed how happy they were. We will definitely use Seth again! Highly recommend!”

“Jessica was so awesome! My dogs loves her she was very attentive. She walked them and played with them a lot and I really appreciate the photos and updates i get! Will definately book again and 100% recommend”

“Matthew was amazing with our doggies! He played with them, walked them, and loved on them all weekend! He updated us throughout our trip and they loved him! We highly recommend Matthew to take care of our doggies again!”

“McKenna is amazing! She took excellent care of our dog and house. Her communication was on point with updates and pictures. Our dog loves her and we will definitely use her as our regular sitter.”

“Tara did an excellent job caring for our two senior dogs. They both take medication and she followed the directions exactly, making sure they both got what they needed and on time. She also sent us lots of videos and photos which was super helpful. We were gone for 3 weeks and we were able to relax knowing that our dogs were in good hands. I think she actually took better care of them than we do. Don't hesitate to book Tara for your next trip, especially if you have special needs or older dogs. Communication was great and she left the house in good shape for our return. I recommend Tara without reservation and I would definitely book her again for our next trip.”

About: I’ve had a dog for four years now! I foster cats for the past year now and I love spending time with both dogs and cats! I recently graduated and have not started work yet! As of right now, I am full-time open to helping out! I’m open to spending nights as well! I don’t prefer to house cats or dogs in my own home. We have an invisible fence for Milo at my house. He uses collars for it
“David did a wonderful job taking care of Leah and Magnus. He kept us updated and the pups really seemed to enjoy spending time with him. Would definitely recommend him!”

About: Hey, friends! Welcome to Waggin' & Walkin'. I've had many types of animal family members in my life. From dogs and cats to a ferret and a guinea pig! I've also volunteered at the Rota Animal Welfare League while stationed in Spain. My duties included feeding, cleaning the grounds, and spending time with my furry pals. There's no doubt that your dog will be in great hands. Whether it's feeding them, walking them or simply relaxing with them to ensure they're comfortable, I'll be there when you can't to ensure they're good to go 💯👍. I have a really great schedule which will allow me ample time to take care of your pets needs. My typical work schedule is from 6am-2pm so any time after that I can assist. From walking to pet sitting, I'll ensure they are loved and cared for so you can relax and focus on what you need to do. As of now I plan to perform the following services: Dog walks, Pop-ins and pet sitting at the client's home. I might add Boarding in the future. When you're not home I will do all tasks that you require to ensure your loved pet is nourished, interacted with and feels safe & happy.
“Renee was fabulous with our girls! She was so kind and gentle with them. Our girls are older and she was so patient and kept them so entertained. And if that wasn’t enough I came home to a clean home. I would definitely use her again because we were able to relax knowing our girls were taking care of, we were so grateful 😊”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Belleair
Isa did a wonderful job watching our two dogs while we were away for a week. She sent regular updates and pictures of the dogs and even kept our pup calm during the 4th of July fireworks. Isa was also a very respectful house guest and made the whole process simple - highly recommend her!

Another great experience with Courtney! Courtney takes such great care of our three dogs and we never worry about leaving them. They are always thrilled to see her! She has great attention to detail and excellent communication during our travel. Very thankful for her amazing care!!

Charlotte has been absolutely wonderful with our dog! She walks our dog weekly and has also stayed in our home while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Thank you for everything, Charlotte—we’re so grateful and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker!
Anna did a wonderful job looking after our slightly neurotic Bernedoodle and newly adopted cat for several weeks. She sent us lots of picture updates and managed to get our picky dog to eat without issue. She left the house just as clean if not cleaner than when she came. I would definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!

I can't say enough about Zena! She's an amazing sitter and such a sweet person to work with. I was very timid about leaving my fur baby for 2 weeks and she was constantly in contact and took care of my home while I was away. She also brought toys and took extra care to make sure my fur baby was cared for in the most beneficial ways! I recommend her for anyone who needs that added level of comfort and just general niceness!

Lauren was an excellent house sitter! She sent us fun updates of Luke and Buttercup every day! Her compassion and dedication to our dogs made us feel as we left our fur babies with family! We would highly recommend her for any future dog families that need a fun and caring dog walker!

Batel stayed with our 2 year old American Bully for a week while we were away on vacation and she was great!! We were apprehensive about using Rover just because of some stories we have heard in the past, but Batel was very responsible and trustworthy and put us at ease while we were gone. She was super responsive and good at communicating, sent updates and pictures daily, and even stayed an extra day when we decided to stay at the beach longer. We would definitely recommend Batel and will be booking with her in the future again!

Matthew was a last minute house sitter. The previous one left rover 3 days before we weee to leave for an international trip. He took care of our dogs and he took care of the house while we were gone. He did leave us notes and photos during his time there and the dogs all really liked him.

Josie was great, it had been a while since our dogs spent time with her, but they immediately remembered her and warmed up to her, Josie is very responsible and took great care of our dogs and our home while we were gone. Looking forward to having her dog sit again in the near future.

FAQs for House Sitting - Belleair
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Belleair on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 9,804 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Belleair. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Belleair walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Belleair maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Belleair choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Belleair. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
