“Renee took fantastic care of my dog while I was away and clearly loved on him totally! She sent great videos of their walking adventures and him playing. The house was in terrific condition when I got home. I look forward to booking with Renee again when I travel. I trust her to keep my fur child safe and happy. Thanks Renee!”

“Michelle was very gracious and kind to come last minute when my mom had an unexpected hospital stay. She was flexible and understanding when my mom had a crisis and my husband was delayed getting back home. Her kindness and affection with our boy Sherlock was wonderful!”

“Oriana was fabulous when staying in our home and taking care of our 12 year old Havanese. First, she offered to do a meet and greet in person before our vacation. Then while we were away for 10 days, she sent daily photo updates and was extremely responsive. She left our house in even cleaner condition than it was when she arrived, and was even thoughtful enough to replace the milk in our refrigerator. Would love to have her again and highly recommend Oriana!”

“Davis stayed at our house for a week while we traveled. He took great care of our 80lb American Bulldog, and was able to get our mega-shy pug-mix to warm up to him which isn’t easy! He also cared for our koi pond, and flock of chickens including a broody hen. We got cute pictures and clear communication on how everything was going which allowed us to relax! Came home to a clean house and happy animals. We’ll definitely book Davis again and recommend him to friends. 😎”

“My dog, Chloe, felt right at home with Kelley. Kelley was very communicative and sent fun pictures and videos of my happy dog :) She also followed instructions and was very responsible. I definitely recommend hiring her to take care of your furry friend!”

“Jeanette did an AMAZING job taking care of our dog. We were gone for 10 days and I was worried we wouldn’t find anyone as responsible as she was. She was very loving and patient with our elderly dog. She has never been left with anyone but family before so I was worried about our dogs stress level. (Mine too). Jeanette sent pictures every day with a review of what they did that day. I would give Jeanette my highest review and would love to have her back when we go out of town again. She was an absolute dream. I can’t thank her enough for everything that she did for Channing and for me. She allowed me to enjoy my trip and not stress about my dog. She made all the difference in the world. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

“McKenna did an excellent job with our high-energy Aussie, who can be a bit anxious sometimes. She was super communicative, punctual, and shared lots of photos and updates. This was the first time we left him overnight with someone other than family, and it was great to know he was in good hands with McKenna. She also left our house as clean, if not cleaner, than it was before. Excited to work with her again soon!”

“Nicole was so amazing I can't fully articulate how much I appreciate her. In a home with 3 dogs (with their own small problems) and 3 cats and a lot of chaos, she not only held down the fort but kept everyone safe, happy, and loved. The house is still clean and smells good (which is amazing given the household), and she gave such great updates while we were gone. Even our former feral cat trusted her enough to come out of hiding! I felt very safe having Nicole watch my crew, and was able to enjoy my time away without worry.”
“Absolutely fabulous! She is an outstanding communicator, sent tons of pictures, and took great care of an old dog and a neurotic one. 10000% would recommend and use again! 💕”

“Madeline was accommodating and friendly. I’ve never left Sadie with someone she doesn’t know but Madeline made her (and I) comfortable and sent photos throughout the sitting. She was very communicative before and during the sitting. Five stars!!”

“We were grateful for Sophia to care for our home and pets. She did a great job and was very professional, and cared for everything well. We would recommend her and would work with her again.”

“Seth did a fantastic job house sitting and taking care of my 11 month old Golden. He was punctual, responsive, caring and knowledgeable. Maverick was in very capable hands which gave me peace of mind and the opportunity to really enjoy my time away. Highly recommend. I would give him more than 6 out of 5 stars!”

About: Hey, friends! Welcome to Waggin' & Walkin'. I've had many types of animal family members in my life. From dogs and cats to a ferret and a guinea pig! I've also volunteered at the Rota Animal Welfare League while stationed in Spain. My duties included feeding, cleaning the grounds, and spending time with my furry pals. There's no doubt that your dog will be in great hands. Whether it's feeding them, walking them or simply relaxing with them to ensure they're comfortable, I'll be there when you can't to ensure they're good to go 💯👍. I have a really great schedule which will allow me ample time to take care of your pets needs. My typical work schedule is from 6am-2pm so any time after that I can assist. From walking to pet sitting, I'll ensure they are loved and cared for so you can relax and focus on what you need to do. As of now I plan to perform the following services: Dog walks, Pop-ins and pet sitting at the client's home. I might add Boarding in the future. When you're not home I will do all tasks that you require to ensure your loved pet is nourished, interacted with and feels safe & happy.
“Hieu and Anna are simply amazing pet sitters. One of our dogs needs special handling while walking in the neighborhood and they were able to handle her - even going on longer than usual walks! They sent us multiple pictures and updates daily, showing the amazing care they were giving our babies. They also were flexible when our travel plans needed to change unexpectedly and stayed an entire extra DAY while we worked on getting home. I definitely recommend them and will rebook again! Rosie and Zoey love their aunties!”

“Anne was great! She stayed two nights with our Lab, and she was very communicative and just generally on top of things. She was very careful with him with the extreme heat and gave him frequent but short breaks outside. She asked good questions and was very attentive to his needs and his routines. She also went above and beyond and voluntarily returned to walk him one more time before she left town. We would absolutely recommend Anne, and will absolutely try to book her again in the future.”

“We had our first house sitting with Tara and she took great care of our boy and home. As was the case with day care, she was very communicative both prior to the stay to clarify his routine and during the sitting. We sincerely appreciated all of the fun and personalized updates that brought many laughs while we were away and the small gifts she left for us. It is clear Tara cares very much about her work, and she is undoubtedly one of the best sitters we’ve worked with. We recommend her without reservation for any Rover services.”

“Ajia is INCREDIBLE! I seriously could not have asked for a better sitter. She was so responsive, took time to share all about Chelsea’s day, made sure to give her all the snuggles and even took her on longer walks than I had asked for. Absolutely amazing care and made me feel so at ease while I was traveling. I will always ask Ajia first for my overnight stays. Thank you x a million!! :)”

Kaylee was absolutely wonderful with my two teacup pups! From the moment I met her, we felt completely at ease knowing our babies were in such caring and capable hands. She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. Kaylee kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dogs and treated them like her own. When I returned home, our pups were relaxed, happy, and clearly loved. My home was also well taken care of, and everything was exactly as I left it. I couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter. I highly recommend Kaylee to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate sitter. I will definitely be booking her again!

David dog sat our two dogs who can be a handful. It was the first time we'd left them for over a week. David kept us up to date with pictures and notes of what was going on at home so we could enjoy our trip. When we returned the dogs were happy to see us; they showed no signs of being stressed/anxious/needy from their time with David. We won't hesitate to call on David again when we need someone to care for our dogs.
Annie was amazing!!! She really went above and beyond for our pets and our house while we were away. We got lots of updates and cute photos, she alerted us right away when she noticed one cat didn't want her dinner just to check if that was okay/normal, and even taught our corgi a new trick! All three pets seemed very happy and comfortable when we got home. We will definitely book Annie in the future when we need some pet help!

Josh cared for our two dogs and our cat while we were away for an extended weekend family event. We got regular updates with photos of the girls clearly enjoying themselves. We came home to happy pets who we could tell had been well cared for while we were gone. Will happily book again for future needs!

Sophie took care of our two dogs for 10 days while our family was on a trip and she was fantastic! She sent pics and updates and our dogs and house were well taken care of. Such a relief to know you have you a reliable, caring individual looking after your furry loved ones!

Dounia was an amazing sitter! We have three challenging little dogs (reactive to strangers, needy in the the house) and she handled them with grace and ease. She communicated well, kept me updated often, and left the house spotless (it was probably better than when she arrived!)

Julia was did an amazing job caring for our pup and our home while we were gone for a week. She was attentive to all our instructions, provided regular updates, and went above and beyond to give our pup an stress-free week at home, and give us peace of mind while we were gone. Will definitely be using again!

FAQs for House Sitting - Bristow
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Bristow on Rover is $50.75 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 9,904 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bristow. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bristow walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bristow maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bristow choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
