I've had some pretty negative experiences on Rover before and had a bit of anxiety about leaving her for such a long time. When I met Cheryl and Gustavo, my anxiety was immediately calmed. They are such warm, caring, and kind people. I received daily pictures of my dog playing, cuddling, walking, and looking right at home with Cheryl and Gustavo's family. I was really nervous because this was the first time I had someone else watch Cooper, but they made me feel comfortable right away. They let me walk around the house, answered all my questions beforehand, and even little things like having rugs on the hardwood made me feel better about him being there. She was very communicative the whole time and sent a bunch of pictures and updates, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. You can tell she and her husband truly care and make the pets they watch feel like part of their family. Cooper seemed to settle in well and came home happy. I’d absolutely book with them again.

Amie is a jewel. It makes me tear up to think of how loving and caring she was for my pup Dylan. My dog had started a new medication a few weeks before i had to travel. But she was still having trouble with eating and anxiety the day I had to leave. I told Amie it might be difficult to get her to eat, but she took on that burden of worry and care for me when I couldn’t be there. She cared for Dylan like her own, adjusting to what Dylan could and couldn’t do, like walks, feedings, etc. It was a big deal for me that Amie would take Dylan in for the first time even knowing it might be difficult and even stressful. But she did. And not only that: she texted me throughout the day, sent pictures, and also talked to me at the end of the day so I could know even better what was happening. Dylan did well in her care - that’s the greatest thing. Even when she didn’t feel well she knew she had Amie (& her mom) there for her. I CANNOT RECOMMEND AMIE MORE STRONGLY! She made me feel ok leaving my dog when it was so hard - with what she was going thru. I knew I could trust her to not just take care of my dog but to really care for her. Priceless! You will be as glad as I have been to know her and have her care for your pet!
Susan took great care of our dog while we were gone. He is old and blind so she made sure to get out baby gates for him. She also made sure to keep me posted of what was going on with him and genuinely seems to love dogs! Would definitely recommend Susan for short or long-term care!
Jennifer was absolutely incredible with my senior Cavalier, Lady Liberty. She was so thoughtful, accommodating, and caring - not only with Liberty’s needs, but also in helping coordinate with my friends so Liberty could make a special appearance in our wedding ceremony. She truly helped make my dream come true and made the entire wedding weekend feel smooth and stress-free. We adore Jennifer, Miss Honey her Chihuahua, Jennifer’s mom, and all of the sweet friends in her care. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Carrie and Matthew both care so much about your pet - it shows the moment they open the door. After having them watch our dog a handful of times, it feels more like bringing our dog to friends to babysit than anything else. It makes it so much easier to leave knowing that she is in such loving hands.
Marissa and Matt were the best!,,,we could tell from the photos they sent us how at home Stevie was. She definitely was treated like part of the family. And when Stevie got sick while there they cared for her in an exceptional way, taking her to urgent care and keeping us informed every step of the way. Helena and Nathan were very nice and communicative! My request was on somewhat short notice; they let me know that they had a dog boarded already, and wanted to do a meet and greet to make sure all of the dogs would get along (with approval from the other owner as well). I really appreciated that, as I’ve had other sitters not be upfront about other boardings. Louis seemed to have a great time. They have a huge back yard which Louis really enjoyed running around in!
