I have over two years of experience as a dedicated pet sitter, caring for neighbors’ pets through in-home sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits while families are at work or away on vacation. I’ve developed a strong reputation for being reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring toward every animal I look after. My love for animals is lifelong—I’ve cared for my own dog, Sophia, a Wheaten Terrier–Poodle mix, for over eight years. This personal experience has strengthened my understanding of pet behavior, routines, and the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care. I’ve also taken my passion a step further academically. I completed Veterinary Science Academy courses in high school and attended a Veterinary Science summer program at the University of Pennsylvania. These experiences gave me foundational knowledge in animal health and reinforced my goal of becoming a veterinarian in the future. I bring both hands-on experience and formal training to every pet I care for, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while their owners are away.

Fabulous! Donovan was super responsive and took care of Sadie's every need. What an excellent set-up for hosting dogs: a big fenced yard with lots to explore, and a friendly dog-loving family. I appreciated the frequent pictures and updated and am certain Sadie was made very welcome. I feel confident with Sadie in Donovan's hands and am now delighted to plan more bookings.
Donovan aka "Casey" is dedicated and responsible with our dog. Our dog loves Casey and looks forward to long walks and and puppy rubs. Our dog once got so dirty in the mud and Casey did a great job of cleaning her up which wasn't easy because our dog hates water! Casey ensures that our pup is let out and feed on time and we trust that she is always well taken care of. I highly recommend this sitter!

Schedule
I’m currently a college student taking a gap year, which allows me to be flexible, available, and fully committed to giving your pets the time and attention they deserve. This also means I can better accommodate different schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and last-minute requests. I take pride in being dependable and responsive, and I truly enjoy building a routine that keeps your pet comfortable, happy, and stress-free while you're away.

In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe space for supervised outdoor play and exercise. I also have a friendly, well-socialized dog who loves to play and can provide great companionship for pets who enjoy being around other dogs. I always monitor interactions closely to ensure everyone is comfortable and happy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow your pet’s normal routine. I pay attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, oral medications (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and playtime, while also keeping your home tidy and secure. No matter the setting, my goal is to create a safe, stress-free, and loving environment so your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you're away
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog both physically and mentally. I will take them on walks to explore all the sights and sounds of my neighborhood. I will play fetch with them and let them explore my large enclosed backyard. Note: My backyard backs up to a wooded area so there are frequently lots of wildlife (birds, squirrels, etc) and a garden to keep your dog visually stimulated. I also have my own dog, a wheaten terrier/poodle mix who is very friendly and loves to play.
